I know that being traded from Toronto was extraordinarily difficult for you. We nobodies think we know what that feels like. The distinguished posters in this forum like me have never been traded from one company to the next. Likewise, the haters in this forum have zero fear that McDonalds will trade them to Burger King. In this non-sports world people are not traded. We don't understand what that's like.
Your first career triple double was a gift from the basketball Gods and may have quenched some of that pain. The ovation you received in Toronto was another gift. Sorry about the late game mishap, but actually Patty Mills should have been there in the backcourt, and Marco didn't recognize the issue. Stuff happens. It was a sweet setup for you to have an opportunity to create a moment you would remember for the rest of your life, but that's basketball. Take some satisfaction in the fact that in showing their love for you, they may have sacrificed a certain long-fingered cornrowed small forward to move on, because in my opinion he may be petty or fragile like that. His body language during that ovation gave a few clues.
