About 3 years too late but thank god that Spanish is gone.
Only about 6 more players to go tbh.
Can Poeltl even shoot outside of 3ft. from the rim?
Pau Gasol was a solid player before the injury. It's just that his contract sucked. That's not his fault. He was a good role player, but his injuries and bloated contract made Spurs fans hate him (myself included).
Patty or Bryn.
I think he took a few jump shots when he was playing for the Utah Utes but he is definitely a post player/enforcer.
Not sure about that. He could have been a mentor here if that's all he wanted. But he apparently wanted court time. He whined about it and requested a trade. Not sure if he will be any less of a whiner in Milwaukee.
RIP that high low play that worked once a game.
RIP this dumb er flailing and screaming.
RIP at him screaming at the refs while leisurely jogging up the court as the other team plays 5 on 4.
You won't be missed.
Nah. I don't mind having one. Part of me says keep Bryn since he is cheap (and I hope he could be a good 3-pt specialist/sparkplug if he were confined to that role for about 10-15 mins/game). I just don't want both midgets back.
Now what?
Is a new player coming in?
I honestly don't want any more midgets. I'm sick of them. (That sounds harsh without context.)
But I understand your reasoning.
I don't want any more midgets, either. But I think the Spurs need to "wean" themselves. I can't see us dumping both Bryn and Patty at once. Two players who are "over themselves" and are imbued with "culture". Get rid of one this year, see what Lonnie can do, and hopefully get ride of the other next year.
Maybe one of the G-league guys gets a "spin."
Only thing better would be if Cuban picked him up.
Few times I've seen him this year, he looked pretty useless. Not sure why the Bucks are signing him. He wont play another minute after they watch him take the floor for the first time.
the sad part is the spurs didn't do this to make the team better... they did this because gasol wanted it this way.
About damn time..Love it.Gasol signing and subsequent loyalty extension is hands down the worst and most useless contract ever given by this front office..Just a simple question, does anyone of you have a single Pau moment? like seriously one good highlight of his tenure?
One of the most forgettable and empty passages by a star player (or formerly so) in Spurs history.
