I don't get the hate Gasol gets here. Before the MISDIAGNOSED (Green, Kawhi, Pau...see a trend here?) foot injury, he was playing well. People here hate Gasol and at the same time hope to get Milutinovic soon![]()
That would be awsome

Look at their overall stat lines. Moore is WAY better. Huestis is exactly what he’s always been on offense, a boat anchor. Don’t be fooled by a few YouTube highlights.
Yup
baffling
I never got the Parker hate and the disrespect when he chose to go to Charlotte -
add to that - the Kawhi dik-sucking -
and it feels like a lot of bandwagoners are hanging out here.
2.5 million? Meh
. For only $2.5 million of savings they should have just kept him and seen if they could trade his sorry ass in the summer.
class act
So, translation that means Pau extorted how much?
That's the point. Spurs didn't do Pau's buyout for their benefit. They should have just let him rot on the bench as backup insurance. The biggest do nothibg FO in professional sports. Even when they have ca chance to help the organization, they do nothing.
The Spurs want to be seen as a player-friendly organization.
It's one of the few things they can control and they (wisely) pursue it as a matter of faith.
LOL Cavs winning the 07 Finals
Might as well have sent Kawhi to LA too then?
Certainly on Pau's behalf. I expected him to demand his full salary plus his plane ticket to Millauakee. I'm pleasantly surprised.
He was owed about 4 for the rest of this season, and like 6 next year, so that’s like a 25% discount. Not horrible.
Lol, Lakers are contenders. Lol, Lebron to Spurs. Do it RC! Lol Baseline Bum''s reading comprehension.

Being player-friendly doesn't mean you do your rivals favors.
The Spurs don't don't ever help the Lakers, they only put their players in position to do what they want.
Yeah. I'm cool with it. Wish they've traded him, but obviously no one wanted him or the Spurs would've had to have given up a draft pick.
So 7.5 million just to leave. And be able to begin earning more immediately with the Bucks.
Got to love our society.
so what's the cap hit next season? 5 million? Can they stretch those?
Na i don’t think so ill be the first to eat my words if somehow the spurs save their season and go deep in the playoffs. Although gasol is done flat out but this teams problems ate deeper than that.
at you trying to be slick when you stated that you never posted here before '10. Your stupidity never ceases to amaze me.

It's pathetic.
2016-17 San Antonio Spurs NBA $15,500,000 2017-18 San Antonio Spurs NBA $16,000,000
So with this years so far and the buyout, what does Pau's total extortion from the Spurs come out to be?
(BTW he was paid 7 mil a year both years on Chicago Bulls.
Popped raised him double.)
