At least we knew who the trolls were. Now 95% of the posters are trolls who’d never have the guts to reveal themselves to the group. Mouse showed up at all the gatherings and enjoyed people in this place. It truly had the feel of a social fan club rather than just a site for sad people to and complain like we have with 90% of the posters now.

Well now you've got me curious. You showed up at the time the "other" guy quit posting. You randomly chose the same name, the same favorite team, and the same "Guest Personality" as a guy who was a do ented ? Okay, I'll buy that. When you've been around for thousands of years, you see some pretty amazing coincidences.

But here's the part I'm stuck on. If you really showed up at the time the "other" guy quit, and created this account, and never had an alt or a troll account... how would you know how difficult it was back then to get an account with the same name approved? Did you have to beg to be approved for the one you have? And if it was that difficult, why would they give you an account name that belonged to someone else?

It's not that I don't believe it could happen. There was a guy who called himself "Zeuss" a few years back who started writing children's books, and I had to threaten him to make him change it.
