Agree with the thoughts on Bert. He was hesitating too much. With his size, if his defender sags off of him and he catches it clean he should feel confident to let it fly. He will be a much greater weapon and provide a ton more spacing for the offense that way.
Nobody has to coach DDR on how to be ball dominant. If you didn't watch him much in Toronto, he's always been that way. If Pop would cut him loose from trying to pass, he could put up even more numbers, but the team can't win that way.This version of DrRozan that we're seeing right now - that's as good as it gets in terms of sharing the ball. That's not as bad as some people here think.What's killing DDR right now, more than anything, is being on the floor with the Midget Matador.

Pleasantly surprised with Eubanks. He moves a lot better than I thought. I actually think he MIGHT move better than Poeltl?? Although I'm not trying to say I think he'll ever be the better player, just that he might be a little more athletic. I think Poeltl wins on the skills/instincts department and is athletic enough. Eubanks does seem a tad bit more physical. Might have backup center upside, might not, but he's definitely good enough to be on the NBA squad if he keeps playing like this.
I would love to see Manu mentor White more. I saw some Manu in White last night too. That fearless dunk he had in the 1st quarter. Totally manuesque.

You can tell the guy is hungry. He's putting 100% effort every play out there so thats refreshing. From Pau to Eubanks so far has been an upgrade!

I think White deserves a A+ because of his defense alone. Not sure how many times White was on Young, but Young was pretty much non-effective. He only made one three pointer last night.
It sucks that due to injuries Spurs have to use Forbes too much for my liking. He is a huge liability on defense and not consistent enough on offense to justify his minutes on the floor.
Eubanks was a top prospect coming out of high school. His production dropped a bit from his sop re season to his junior season, and he went undrafted. He's a lot more comparable to Baynes than Poeltl, because of his body and play style. He just turned 22, compared to Baynes who was 26 and had Euro experience when he came to the Spurs. By all accounts, he is really focused and a hard worker. I think there's a really good chance that he gets a roster spot in SA next year.
A lot of big men don't show very much until they've been in the league 3-4 years. I think he can be at least as good as Baynes, and that's nothing to sneeze at, especially for a guy who went undrafted.
Eubanks is already a better fit for a role playing big man than current Pau is.
But White is truly blossoming. He’s older so it’s not like he has a ton more room to grow but even this current level play has him as a truly impactful starting level player.

It was an ugly game with a weak opponent. When it was close down the stretch I was like "yikes that movie again, Demar will get the ball and we will pathetically drop this" but then... surprise! they didn't get the ball to Demar and we easily and calmly won against the scrubs.
The two things going for Eubanks is his wingspan and that he's ambidextrous. I haven't seen him attempt from 3 though, but I think he has shooting than Poetl.
Poetl in contrast can't shoot, has short arms. But he's ridiculously quick!
I like that Baynes comparison. And I think Eubanks is more skilled and polished than Baynes who is more a brute force. Baynes can intimate though. If Eubanks could put another 20 lbs muscle. He is only 22. I don't think he would mind doing the dirty work inside. I like his 100% effort every time, and should get tip ins with his offensive rebounding.

Eubanks never got a decent pass from the whole team. Nobody trusted him. Felt bad for the guy kind of but with time hopefully he can start to earn a little trust out there.
Again, the FO was late in just getting rid of his sorry ass... if they had bought him out even a few weeks earlier, they'd probably have a shot at the 3-6 seed but better late than never I guess.
