He is pretty important to this roster. Makes you hesitate to invest too much in re-signing him.
...dude had 3 days off. Tired of this from him. Without him, we have no chance tomorrow.

Yeah it’s tough I like Rudy Gay a lot but his nagging injuries are a concern. Thing is though, if we don’t keep him there’s not many other better SF options we can afford
Spurs will still give him a 3 yr/42 million dollar extension this summer because he’s a good lockerroom guy.
He isnt injured people, he is sick...

This dude gimpy ass act is starting to get annoying, tbh. Really hope the Spurs don't give him a bull "loyalty" contract..
Lol at most the posters here calling him injury prone because he has the flue. Cluff jump much?
Still better than '$27m for two more years' DeRozan
He’s been injury prone all year lol
Was there ever a time in his career where he was healthy all year?

Apparently it was only his first 4 years he was healthy most of the year.
Rudy is a badass and a great guy, and Spurs are damn lucky to have a player like him. If he's sick he's sick.
Bucks playing back-to-back. I think Spurs can win without him. Tough game either way.
Ditto and anyone who thinks otherwise can go....... take a nice walk in the park and reevaluate their nonsensical thought patterns.
Yeah was happy to see it was a b2b for them. Hope we aren't rusty from the 3 day break. Any word on practice? Haven't looked.
No chance? what the ? they're on a back to back and we're one of the best home teams in the league
Michael Jordan played through a 100 degree fever and dropped 60. that, he's definitely no Jordan but he better ing play.
A bunch of clowns in this thread, Rudy should rest regardless. We got to pick our battles, it's a tight playoff race and we are not beating the best team in East tomorrow anyways, I am not saying it's impossible, but I don't like our chances. What is more important, in my opinion, is not to lose against Dallas and New York.
You're a clown too, then. We can't afford to drop any games the rest of the way. I guess you aren't caught up in current events but we don't have the Big 3 anymore.
i guess, we agree on two things them, 1) the big three are gone, and 2) there still clowns in this forum.
Gay is sick, by the way. It's not like we don't play him because we want to rest him. But let's be honest our chance of winning that game with him or with out him are slim.
The only game that we'd have no chance of winning at home would be against a motivated and healthy Warriors team.
On paper you see this years Bucks and you think "They are playing 4 out,we have nobody to guard Giannis, especially if Gay is out,we are terrible at defending the 3 and they make a ton of 3's so it's a loss".
But they are on the second night of a b2b,they are at the start of a 5 games in 7 days schedule, they won the one yesterday, they are 3 games ahead of the second seed.We don't know yet if they will rest some guys but it's very possible.Even if they don't rest guys they will be tired.Spurs have a legitimate shot at the W.
Also we played them great on the first game and lost by 6,choking away our lead in the 4th.And Giannis shot 20 FT's at that one.
in theory Suns had no chance agaist the Spurs...it is the NBA, every game is winnabale.
Gay being sick is a big damage to our chances, though. He will play if he can, that's for sure, he is no DDR
