That can be said about every athlete at every level at anytime. The guy could be in a car wreck, you don't live like that.
The NBA needs to change the age these guys can enter the league.
Injuries.

It won't be long before they allow high schoolers to go straight to the NBA again.
You have no idea what you're talking about here as usual
It’s very smart. No reason he should keep providing free labor for Duke as an indentured servant and risk future money.
Tah wit dat..............Im waiting for 8th graders allowed in the NBA .![]()
Dude, why is it you never seem to actually get it? We all know about all those players who never played college ball, my thing was they should have to, or be older than what is now allowed...ok guy?
Damn this little is dumb.
The first female Olympic 100m champ.....Betty Robinson....16.
While a junior in high school Houston McTear ran a 9.0 100 yard WR.
But, could a kid in jr high hang physically with grown men like we see in the NBA?
Tommie Smith was at first a long jumper out of Lemoore, (I saw him there) then he started running the 400, then the 200/100, he stood 6-3 and had an outerwordly abililty to maintain his topend unlike any human in history, what he was doing was suppose to be impossible. But....he did it.
He was a freak of nature.
First sub 20.00
First sub 44.00 4x4 leg
World record....220 straight, 200m, 440,
He beat Lee Evans in the 400m, Evans the 1968 Olympic 400m gold medalist.
He ran down Jimmy Hines on a 4x1 anchor, Hines the 68 100m gold medalist.
Jim Brown was 6-2 230 pounds with 4.5 speed in the late 50's, that was unheard of at the time, yep......freak of nature.
Hercshel Walker ran a 10.23 (Deion Sanders 10.26) in the 100m at 225 pounds......freak of nature.
Wilt Chamberlain ran the 400m while in HS, a stud high jumper while at Kansas....freak of nature.
We only see these freaks of nature coming from western Africa.
Look at that stride and how the best part of his race is that finish, he is suppose to be decellerating, everyone does, yep...a freak.
Our very own SFS would have won the silver there with his middle school 20.00.

Saw a boxer last night from Nigerian....6-5 240 with an 85in reach, his jabs were power punchs. And he looked lean at 240 pounds.
These kinds of athletes are only found in western Africa or roots to that region of the world.
By the way he's now..9-0.
Why? If an 18 year old adult is good enough to make it to the NBA and earn money playing basketball, who are you to make a rule that he shouldn’t be able to? In any other profession there aren’t arbitrary age minimums that forbid otherwise independent 18+ year old adults from working.
College sports are a racket. Good for anyone who can bypass them successfully.
this tbh. Would be nice to see more guys do the 1 year euro route similar to Brandon Jennings.
I am interested in why Avante's black friends are not prolific readers of lists.
So pass on getting a free education?
The salary Zion would earn in a full NBA season as oppose to playing in college is exponentially higher than the full cost of a 4 year degree from Duke.

Jeez you're really ignorant about this. Pretty strange, even for you
Zion should pass.
An NBA lottery pick pays for it several times over if he wants to go back to school.
What % of college athletes make pro sports, well?
Zion will make pro sports. He would without playing a second of college ball.
I totally agree with Zion, was obviously talking about that vast majority that will never play pro sports.
Estimated probability of competing in professional athletics
NCAA Participants % NCAA to Major Pro Baseball 34,980 9.5% M Basketball 18,712 1.2% W Basketball 16,532 0.9% Football 73,063 1.6%
The ones that will never play pro sports should stay in school.
This thread is about Zion.
You said....
College sports are a racket. Good for anyone who can bypass them successful
So why the....anyone...well?
Anyone who can bypass them to pro sports.
Zion can bypass them.
Do you understand?
Larry really having trouble following the conversation![]()
