Leonard Scott a Tenn footballer, had a look by the Steelers, nope. His 9.91 the fastest 100m time ever ran by a college/NFL footballer.
Maurice Greene one of the greatest sprinters in history.
He went to KCCC (a JC) but got hurt. Nobody knew anything about him. So here come the Texas Relays, in the 100m the great Carl Lewis, yep.....who is Maurice Greene....because he beat Lewis.
J.J.Johnson another JC guy who came out of nowhere, he also has some serious size.

After watching Zion in his last two games and a couple earlier in the season, I am convinced he could cook a 4.65 40, and make a great TE. Not ruling out boxing either or rugby. The kid is already an amazing athlete, and might not be done growing, meaning more muscle.
Love the NCAA tourney, despite paying little attention during the season.

Zion is one of those freak athletes that could probably play about any sport he wanted and be fairly successful. He could probably train for a year or 2 in MMA and be an absolute stud there as well.
Love to see him throw a javelin. And yes MMA another sport he might excell in.
Heavyweight is pretty garbage in MMA. He would just need a couple years of training and he could probably be top 5 in the division pretty much based purely on size/strength/speed combo. I am of the mind that failed college b-ball players should give mma a try. They have the physical tools to be great at it
