first question...do you have a pair of Beats?
Yes I'm old school and lame blah blah blah. How do I go about putting DVDs onto a usb stick? Can I plug the USB stick into a tv to watch movies? Help a brother out.
take a picture of the blank USB stick with a polaroid camera
take a picture of the polaroid with your cell phone
email that picture to yourself
copy the attachment to your usb
plug your usb into the tv
enjoy
Handbrake
ah...just realized it was Rob so...no Beats...got it.
Ok...here's what you do...
Play the DVD on your regular player. While it's running, record the video/audio with a video camera. Buy and install a screen capture program for your computer. Hook the video camera up to your computer and play the recording back while the capture program is running. Have it save to My Docs or something. After that, put your USB in the computer and transfer it over.
Viola!
Sounds legit..
No, should I invest in a pair before going any further?
.
The first question you should ask yourself EVERY DAY when you get up is
"Do I have a pair of Beats?"
First you need a PS1 memory card and a VCR
Like Spurm said Handbrake can get it on your computer. Make sure your TV actually plays video media files and save them in a format the TV can read.
Rob: how do I install Handbrake on my computer?
Do I look like the joking type?
if you have a laptop just plug it into the tv.
Ok...ok.
Allright...so did you get the Beats yet?
Anybody changing their opinion about building that wall?
Yeah, your computer will play pretty much any format if you download the right player and codec pack. K-Lite probably still does it all, right?
I'm working on it
Need computer with CD-Rom. Becoming increasingly rare
I use vlc, but mainly just for mp4 and mkv.
Right. I use mpc going direct but I'm using Plex on the Roku more and more. Easier for the SO to understand.
You've got to rip the DVD then add the file to the USB.. if you rip in the best quality (which already sucks as it's DVD), the files will be pretty big for USB stick standards. It's not practical at all these days. Install Cinema HD or the latest Kodi build and be done w/ it
