Posts like the above should be in my FkLA "official Instagram baller thread", tbh.. just so we can keep up with the daily grinding of this dude in all of its self-promotional glory.. is getting cringe-worthy..

Murray is basically still in the age group of a college kid and he's excited that he's working hard and progressing slightly quicker than expected with his injury. Do some of you just not understand perspective? Be glad that he's so excited about the game of basketball. Those are the kind of guys who always get better. Hopefully he works on his shooting and continues to refine his handles.
I agree. Although I strongly prefer the old Spurs' "silent assassins" image, times change. With Pop nearing the end of his tenure, some things will inevitably change. There is no denying that Dijon has a certain charisma and is very photogenic. He exudes confidence, enthusiasm and leadership. If his basketball skills ever match those traits, all of ST will be singing his praises. No telling what I would have done at his age under similar cir stances.

I haven't seen this posted, but Murray tweeted out, "Soon!! 100%."

I wish I knew how to include the tweet on here.

So what does this tweet mean? That he's going to be back to 100% here soon? How soon? Pop has constantly said that there pretty much no way Murray will play this season.

And Pop is right. I don't think it's even been 6 months yet. You don't bring him back until training camp, period.

He's between 5 and 6 months on a one year recovery curve. He may FEEL 100%, but he isn't. You rush this, he gets injured, he misses ANOTHER year.

The team won't rush him back even with his rapid recovery. They have three young, hungry guards to build up, so no reason to push any of the three too soon.

White is developing and evolving rapidly and hopefully next season Murray and Walker will be too.

100 in this context means that he's "keeping it 100" and being real about his situation, not that he's near 100% health.

While i don't think biologically he can ever reach Kwa Leonard progressing as far as muscle and strength building, over the next few years can we see those bird legs bulk up or is this as good as it's gonna get?

Encouraged to see him seemingly put a lot of effort into working out.

If one of our guards not named DeRozan and White suffers a serious injury a few days before the playoffs starts, would Pop put Murray on the roster just for insurance? Or would he just call up Walker?

    Pop double downs on Patty/Forbes.

One of them is the one that presumably gets injured in the scenario I placed. You really think Patty would start if Forbes went down? Or would Gay be reinserted in the SL and look like:

    Poetl
    LMA
    Gay
    DeRozan
    White

With heavier minutes off the bench for Mills?

I would prefer they put Belli in and let Gay continue the heavy lifting in the 2nd team. Belli can continue to help the spacing with his off ball 3 and LMA and Poeltl can help to negate some his defensive weakness.

Wish he'd get the green light to play in these playoffs, relegating Mills to garbage time. Won't happen of course...
