Has nobody here seen the Pau Gasol tribute video the Spurs played before the Bucks game?

I would say we will probably play a tribute for Dante and QPon next season...but they probably won't be in the NBA anymore.

It really seemed odd to me that we made a video for him. He was here, what 2 1/2 years?

Did Kyle Anderson get a tribute video? I can't remember if he did or not.

In 3 games so far with Milwaukee....in 10 MPG, averaging 1.3/3.3/0.7 with a -8.9 BPM and -0.1 VORP.

    Good riddance.
He's had 2 DNPs in the last 3 games. I think coach Bud is figuring out quickly what he's got there.

    I don't think so.

I think they felt obligated to do it after showing tributes for Tony, Green, and Kawhi on their returns, but come on...they were like pillars of the franchise.

Pau was just a veteran who came 3 years too late, accomplished nothing, and literally just took his money and ran.

Yes, he's had a dignified career....but none of that was for the Spurs.

He benched Beno because Linsday Hunter repeatedly stripped him of the ball in the 2005 Finals and took it the other way for scores. Spurs got their asses kicked in games 3 and 4, in large part due to those cir stances.
Yeah he got worked over by Hunter bad and that dude couldn't miss that year

There was no d-league or g-league when Beno was drafted, and GHill was also a full four year college player. James Anderson played 3 years of D 1 ball.
As I said, older rookie could play rotational minutes in their first year.

At least Kyle was drafted here. But oh well.
    Still glad Pau is gone!

Pretty much sealed Beno’s fate as a Spur. Plus, didn’t he come to training camp the next summer already suffering from an injury that really made him a permanent resident of Pop’s doghouse?

Kind of like Fakers’ celebrating LeBron’s accomplishments.

Hearing Jaes Anderson’s name always makes me shake my head in disappointment. That guy came out of the gates better than any Spurs rookie not named Robinson or Duncan. Until he injured his foot he was the real deal.

    You got that right
J Anderson was looking great from the start
Got a similar crush on like White now
It’s a shame his foot injury

Another DNP for Gasol. DJ Wilson's really good. No idea what Bud was thinking but it seems he's realizing his mistake very quickly.

+1. You only show highlights for players that actually played significantly here. Why should spurs fans celebrate Pau Gasol’s time as a Laker when they were rivals at the time? There were only like 2 seconds of actual Spurs highlights in there. Between this and the 3 year contract the front office gave him, it’s mind boggling how much respect PATFO showed for washed up Pau.

Pau helping deliver a championship to Milwaukee by rightfully sitting on the bench. I was so glad when this pos got waived and I hope it hurts his ego sitting there.

Bud must have been thinking Pau was really nothing more than injury insurance. He would have been that for us if he had kept his mouth shut. Fortunately he spoke up. He was expensive injury insurance for us, cheap injury insurance for Milwaukee.

First broken Splitter, now broken Gasol. Time to retire Bud's jersey, tbh.

That was great point. The funniest was I think the 3rd clip showing Pop called for a pick to get Demar on Pau.

I wonder why, I never understand, why this sob get big contract and big money, Did he sleep with RC Buford and suck eachothers virgina?
first he ruined PATFO's reputation, then he hurt Bud's fame, why? because he used to be Koby's bitach?

and just like nephew, they already left, but spurstalk still talk about them like they never left.

Good bump. Turning point in the season, TBH. I don't care if Pau got paid, I am so glad to have his corpse out of here.
