the New Zealand police want the personal information of people who talked about the video? What a re ed ing country.
Sounds like a good start to me. They should comb over the social media accounts of everyone who downloaded and watched it.

How amusing that you think you can intuit my feelings.

    You're so empathetic.

I understand the thinking behind your tiered system, but your C-level license doesn’t provide anything for my wife to protect herself and my son. Shotgun too much kick, penetration through walls, pump action. Single shot rifle? Lol. Revolvers with stopping power also have too much kick, and only six shots. An AR-15 is far and away the best platform for a female to defend herself in a home invasion. Minimal kick, minimal wall penetration, lightweight, 20-30 rounds, flashlight to ID intruder.
I specified single shot rifles in consideration of hunters. Anyhow, I guess I'm behind the times and never had more than a shotty and revolver around the house, so I'm not up-to-date on the efficacy of the different firearm platforms per home/personal defense, but I do agree that women being at a physical disadvantage to any potential male threat need access to the most effective options. This might be counter-intuitive, but maybe women should have freer movement up the tier since women are, per scientific fact, considerably less violent than men. Yes, I guess a mass shooter can always find a female accomplice to purchase the weapons for him, but I doubt Nicholas Cruz's mother would've agreed to buy him an AR-15. Furthermore, mass shooters tend to be of the disgruntled, loner "incel" variety anyway

Some might see my proposal as "sexism," though. I simply see it as giving the more responsible party in this context (prone to violence) freer access.

One wonders why more women don't make that choice.

Maybe they don't have a wise man like TSA to tell them what to do.
Plenty of women make that choice. The large majority of women I see shooting at various ranges are using the AR-15 platform. Can you point me to a better firearm for women? Must be lightweight, light recoil, 10+ rounds, low wall penetration yet still have stopping power. Go.

Under your system I’d just identify as female and jump in line with the rest at the top tier.

    Why low wall penetration?

Just curious. Seems a long rifle would be unwieldy at close quarters, say, if someone came while the occupant was sleeping.

That wouldn't work with me since I don't subscribe to that 37 genders nonsense. You got a and balls, you're male. Sure, identify as non-binary or whatever all you want for personal reasons, just don't expect societal perks for such (i.e. a self-identified "female" getting to play women's sports or use women's restrooms). Unfortunately, the left has lost its mind in that regard. Cue story of those "female" sprinters obliterating their opponents.

family members in other rooms, neighbors.

Unless you sleep with one eye open and a gun under your pillow you’re pretty ed at that point in the situation you described.

Duh, of course that's what you say.

That wasn't the question, category is terroristic violence.

White power belongs in the conversation.

In order to get your tier system passed you’d have to side with the only party that would try and push it through, which means you’d have to accept me for who I identified as. Gun owners are good at work arounds and we’d fully exploit

    Shooting someone outside the house?

    Wouldn't a semi-automatic rifle endanger the neighbors?

Not sure shooting some one outside the house is a good idea in 45 of 50 states. I was talking about if a stray bullet made it through your own interior wall and into your neighbors house. Small calibers out of an AR-15 are much less likely to do that.

    Why not a shotgun?

Birdshot # with actual stopping power will penetrate walls like crazy. Slugs same thing. And also the whole recoil thing if we are still talking females.

A 12 gauge is probably putting a slight woman or kid on his ass. If they don't make the first shot count, they're ed.

I’m currently building a California legal rifle that would work well for my wife if ever needed. If I remember I’ll post some pics of that when it’s complete and discuss what makes it legal and how asinine the gun laws are here where I live.

Sounds like the AR-15 is good only if you're aware someone is breaking in.

Are you sure that's the most versatile option? Far and away?

If you’re not aware there is an intruder our entire conversation has been pointless.

I’m going to say 100% of people who shoot intruders knew there was an intruder.

I tried to include survivors and white power extremism.

Didn't work so well, except for getting white power sympathizers to expose themselves, if only episodically, so there is that.
