So why do we never see Clark listed as a TE on any roster, in any game videos, on any cards? Why didn't he hold that Niner yards record, he had more yards than Vernon Davis? Why is he ranked number three at WR and not ranked at all at TE on that Niner site.

All anyone has to do is actualy watch any of the youtube videos, it is just that easy. You will see Clarl ay WR not TE.

Nobody hrere can show anything proving Clark played TE, I have TONS of proof he played WR.

The play that led to the pass that led to The Catch was called Sprint Right Option. The primary target was the speedy Freddie Solomon; the second was Dwight Clark, a wide receiver no one except the San Francisco 49ers’ coach, Bill Walsh, thought could be an N.F.L. star. The Clark option rarely worked in practice — Joe Montana would throw the ball too high or too low. It was 1982, and the San Francisco 49ers were still “lovable losers destined to break your heart,” recalls the longtime sportswriter and N.F.L. Network analyst Michael Silver, who grew up a 49ers fan. The Dallas Cowboys, the 49ers’ opponent in that night’s N.F.C. championship game, had dominated the previous decade and reeked of the imperiousness that came with being anointed “America’s Team.”
this is why we have courts. so you can make your argument and have a jury of your peers reach a verdict after carefully considering the arguments and evidence of both sides.

I had a feeling nobody here but myself really knew football, calling Dwight Clark who everybody knows was a WR a TE says it all.
Where is any evidence he played TE? What did the game video show? Yep, WR. Where is any card that reads....TE?
Dude, Clark was a WR, no need to expose the posters here as know nothings, so slow that roll.
No court ignores video evidence, where is any where he starts at TE?
What about Charles Young, Russ Francis the real TE;s? What about Clarks 13.3 avg per catch, which is better than all the great TE's, well?

This is how this is going to work.
Until we see an actual game showing Clark playing TE he didn't.
This proves he played WR.
Yep, that is just one game, so, where is that one game showing Clark at TE?
If we don't see any video proving he played TE we must go with the one proving he played WR.
YES.....he did line up tIght, there is no doubt about that at all, but......he always played a FAR FAR FaR larger % of his game as what he was a WR. He was always listed as a WR, never a TE.
