Spurs needed 3 and DDR had the ball. Why didn’t Pop call the time out? Wtf
Umm... because Patty was gonna be wide open. Obviously. Patty hit a lot of 3s in the 4th. I had confidence that it would have went in (and I don’t even like Patty as a player)

Demar's IQ to close out games is crazy low considering he's been an all star and in the league for like 10 years...

Even against the Dubs, he hit a miracle shot over Thompson that he dribbled right into

He made about 3 boneheaded plays in the last 2 minutes. They all involved trying to do too much, including dribbling into traffic and getting picked from behind.
He definitely had a couple of wtf plays, including that pass to LA (should of shot) but this loss is not on DeMar. LA & White were not good. LA looked way slower tonight for some reason. Our starting 5 as a group was pretty bad.

Thanks a lot Fatty Mills. What we would do without his precious leadership?
Yeah, that was ing awful of him. If only he could've gone along with Pau and Manu had come out of retirement for the stretch run.

Heat will get swept by the Buck if they even get in. All these terrible losses at home to scrub teams are gonna cost the Spurs. What is that now? Bulls, Hornets, Heat...lol
Heat will not get swept by the Bucks and you can bet $$ on it.

They are always playing physical defense to the limits of hacking, they are always defending Giannis well,Spo is a good coach and they are playing hard every game despite not having enough talent.

Mills and Forbes nearly 30 minutes each and close the game. Meanwhile White who has proven to be a clutch scorer and defender getting splinters on his ass riding the pine. I could care less if he was 0 for 100. Dude needs to be in there unless he's hurt.

Pretty good defense? It was a ing zone that Pop hasn't been able to figure since it was made legal like 18 years ago
Well if they the Spurs can't figure it out, doesn't that sound like a good defensive plan????

Very frustrating but predictable with this bunch. Hey.. the Rockets lost to a ty team and so did the Bucks. happens.
And we are the ty team the warriors lost to, but we took that game to mean we have a chance to beat them in the playoffs

Pop was right not to call a time out there when your "best player" has the ball against an unprepared defense and he gets stripped from behind. It happens on to the next one.

Meh,we played like ,were down by 20,came back and had an excellent chance to steal the game in the end.

The Heat were fighting for their life,Spo coached a good game and their 3's went in.

    On to the next one.
Summed up perfectly. Yeah, we are pissed but they were hitting Curry step-back 3's...so what are you to do. 2nd point chances killed us.

One shouldn't really agonize over closes losses (or take too much from close wins) there is a huge random factor in basketball these days. We lost. Move on. Houston will be a good challenge.

dont expect much from lma, this clown plays in a weak era of big man, yet he plays like a soft limping kent shooting jumpers instead of playing bully ball down low for easy baskets...fkn weak kent

he had 3 plays and he stuff all of it up, shouldve given the ball to someone else to have a go

ddr is easy to pick, u know what his going to do with the ball when he dribbles, he go down low and u see him pull the ball back then swing left or right into a defender as usual...guy is a fkn scrub

DeMar must not bring the ball down the court in close situations, period.

His dribble style, crossover maneuvers work in half court plays where he can slow the game down and control the court, but pushing the ball in the open court,he isn't controlling and he gets the ball poked away from him constantly.

Trap game. Sucks we couldn’t nut up and win this one. Had a chance to gain two on the Rockets with a win Friday.

Yeah, Miami played with much more energy, and our guys looked terrible. Shooting was way off. LMA was lethargic. White was off. But even so, in crunch time it was DeMar who committed the boneheaded errors when we had several chances to cut the lead. He is clearly more responsible for the loss.

Absolutely. DeMar is not going to change his spots. You just have to minimize his opportunities to hero in crunch time. Spurs fans have enjoyed such intelligent players for 20 years; we are not accustomed to that kind of boneheaded play.
Are you serious? Have you heard of Ginobili? He played 16 season and was my fav player but he gave away plenty of games including game 7 of 2006.

Oh yeah, and shut up. Funny how you rear your head in a loss.
