    PREVIOUS 10 GAMES (9-1)

Well, this is by far the best the Spurs have played in a 10 game span all year. It is great that it is happening now and not in November or December. SPAM has been in full effect. Lets hope it continues.

Going in the goal was to keep pace of 47/48 wins and we needed to go 7-3 in that stretch to do so. And though it felt like it was going to take a miracle for the Spurs to win that many, especially against the compe ion, a miracle was definitely delivered! Wins against the Thunder, Nuggets, Bucks, Blazers and Warriors are nothing to sneeze at. Home or not. That is impressive and this team has undoubtedly turned a corner.

Now we have put ourselves in great position to get a playoff spot which was goal #1. The 2nd goal is to get as highest seeding as possible. After the loss against Miami, we are currently 6th seed after being 5th for a couple of days. Luckily the Thunder lost as well. We'll see how the final 10 play out.

Here a few of the many great moments during this stretch.

    LAST 10 GAMES
Though we do play more road games in this stretch then we do home games, 6 to 4, half of them will be against teams with a losing record. If we can win at least those, I believe we can finish the last 10 games at 7-3. Which would give us a 49-33 record to end the year. I would LOVE this team to win 50 games, and would not be suprised if they did. But, they will have to stay mentally sharp each and every game. They have potential, they just need to keep it consistent.

@ Rockets (45-27) LOSS (will be extremely tough, a win would be HUGE!)
    @ Celtics (43-29)
    WIN
@ Hornets (31-39) LOSS (i just have that feeling we will lose both times to Parker/Borrego)
    vs Cavs (19-53) WIN (GINOBILIIIIIII!)
    vs Kings (34-36) WIN
    vs Hawks (24-48)WIN
    @ Nuggets (47-22)
LOSS (2nd night of back 2 back)
    @ Wizards (30-42) WIN

    @ Cavs (19-53) WIN
vs Mavs (28-43) WIN (I'm honestly worried about this one)

The Hornets are 4 games behind Miami for the #8 of the Eastern Conference.

Before playing the Spurs they have Boston@Home and Raptors@Toronto.

If they drop those 2 and are all but mathematically eliminated, and Borrego and TP don't rest half their team vs Spurs i am going to consider it an Act of Treason!

I'd be beyond surprised if they don't got 2-4 in those remaining road games.

They're literally the softest team in the league when it comes to winning on the road, they're poorly coached and underprepared as soon as they leave the friendly confines of the AT&T center.

Best they could hope for is be locked into the 8th seed after this upcoming 4 game losing streak and the old man can rest up guys like DWhite for the 4-0 ing the team is gonna get at the hands of his master Kerr.

I'm glad they are playing more road games then home games, it is a mini prep for the playoffs. They are likely to start on the road in the playoffs, so its better going in playing away from the att center. Hopefully the turnaround we have seen the last 10 games proves to be real to where they can succeed on the road as well.

Wouldn't hold my breath considering the two road wins during the streak were against tanking teams and even those Ws were close.

The Spurs literally haven't beaten an above .500 team on the road in 2.5 months. They'll get their pushed in by any decent team on the road.

Yeah not much you can do about who we were playing those 2 particular games during this streak but obviously we've struggled mightily on the road this year.

But i'll wait to gauge a little more until i see them on the road with a healthy team, and after having played their best ball all year.
If they go into Houston tomorrow and still get slaughtered well thats that. Pretty much confirms what you're saying.

But i believe we will win either @ Houston or @ Boston. Probably not both but at least one of them. And that will be a success if we do.

7-3 sounds about right. I think we're gonna lose to the Celtics but beat the Hornets. I really wish we beat the Rockets even if we lose the next two games.

i’ll go with 7-3 but wouldn’t be surprised if this team laid an unexpected egg or two.

Unfortunately 3 of 3 so far with my picks. If the rest pans out the way I expect I will take it.

The lottery is still within reach. They would have to get a little help from Sacto, but they did their parts tonight.

The last few games will be critical indeed. We have to go W-W-W-L-W-W-W in our last seven games to have any hopes of avoiding the Warriors in round 1.

after the lost to Heat, home court is out of the question, I think Pop is just playing to get better and healthy for the playoffs, but hopefully to avoid Dubs in the 1st round

The team hasn’t played with any intensity the last few games. A lot of guys are missing shots they normally make which indicates fatigue. I think 5-2 in these remaing 7 is about the best we’ll see.
