Uh, how? OKC is in 8th, and have a far tougher schedule than we do.
Most of us have Spurs losing @ Rockets. So if somehow, someway the Spurs can win that one, that will definitely make up for this loss.

Yes, i've seen this before. Good teams play man with elements of zone and it's always situational. Like when someone is slashing and help comes down it leaves one guy to defend the wing and corner. Real zone defense is only really effective in college
I see 3 guaranteed road losses remaining and I wouldn't be surprised if these idiots the bed again at home.
When's the last time the Spurs were in a heated race for good seeding and actually got what they wanted? Pop's probably ecstatic about the prospects of being able to bend over for Kerr again![]()
That's a damn fact right there. That was always my biggest complaint about Parker. I had hopes that DDR could break down a zone better.
Trade Demar/LMA for draft picks or what? What's your solution after Kawhi ed us?
Remember that 2010 series against the suns when Dragic just dusted us?
I don't understand how Forbes, who had to run PG while White was out, suddenly has forgotten how to dribble. When guys close out on him now he seems surprised and scared to do much of anything. Did none of that time in the G league even help him?
Zones have become a lot more complex than your traditional rec league 2-3 or 3-2. A lot of it is based in real-time on who is on the floor and the best players in the world being coached by the best coaches in the world. Popovich threw some zone out there too a few times this season and worked great. It will be the norm soon enough with the explosion of talented superstar scorers. Need to hedge more against them and find unique ways of zoning out the rest of the field.
That's cool and all, but have you seen OKCs schedule?
And idk how u define bending over for Kerr... both times we matched up with them the past 2 years, we were without our best player..
I trust their coach more to get them right seeding tbh...hoping Derrick White can carry this loser squad and coaching staff to a 6 seed but that's asking a lot out of a 2nd year player.
I mean, Pop has been pretty dialed in the last few weeks , shortening the rotation and what not. Last night's L was not about coaching.
Also, where we land isn't important, it's about who we matchup with. You'd rather 6th and possibly face Houston vs 7th and playing Denver? These guys just need to show up on the road before the playoffs and get more confident . Another streak into the playoffs isn't unlikely
The only goal should be avoiding the Warriors.
I think they'd still lose to Houston or Denver but at least it wouldn't be downright embarrassing like if they matched up against the Warriors.
They could avoid the Warriors by finishing 9th. But they'd have to be really focused to pull it off.
They pretty much could not miss as well.
It happens.
In this nutty season, it's a minor thing.
Lets play the Nuggets.
I agree with the grades and even though Gay deserves that grade i would give him a B just for the wide open missed three that was so crucial in the outcome of the game.
Happens everytime they get a statement win. They'll be back, though.
You are stuck in a loop, my friend. Must be .
That's why the bench played better against the zone. They play against our zone with the first teamers in practice. We basically don't have many bench players equipped to give our starters practice against a zone. Too many lead feet
