The funniest/saddest part about all the Russiagate pushers here isn’t that a single one won’t admit they were dead ing wrong for three years but that they haven’t said they are relieved their President wasn’t compromised by Russia.
    True ing Patriots
They don't really care about that

why would they say that without knowing what the report says?
Because ZERO Americans were indicted for colluding with Russia. Do you think Mueller has proof some did and just sat on it and didn’t indict?

His job was to investigate. The DOJ and Congress, if necessary, should be the ones to indict based on the report.

During the course of the investigation, he found other crimes, and as is his duty, he referred them for prosecution.

I don't know what's so complicated about this, tbh. IIRC, we explained the procedure a while ago.

So far, looks like everything is proceeding as it should. Now it's time for the DOJ or Congress to act or not based on the report.

It's hardly unheard of for CI investigations to forego prosecution because information required for conviction would compromise national security.

Just spitballing, if in fact a foreign country had compromised high officials in government, revealing that we knew might endanger ongoing countermeasures, intel methods and personnel.

I don't get what's funny about this. That's how the law works.

If the report presents evidence of actionable collusion activity, do you think the DOJ or Congress should look the other way? Is that what this is about?

I mean, I don't claim the report includes that, I haven't seen it.

So Mueller has proof that Russia compromised Trump but he’s just going to let him finish out his term in order to not compromise National security?

The bolded is a claim you can't possible be sure about without access to the report.

And no, actually, it's been already argued that what he'll do is turn in his do ents to the DOJ/Congress and it's up to them to bring whatever proceedings are necessary.

Let me look up my post about that, it was very early in this process (and something I disagreed with djohn about).

Hypothetically, why would he punish a victim of blackmail?

Actually, not necessarily, because that information would be part of the report, and Mueller is done with it. But it could be an impediment for the do ent being released without redactions.

Obviously, Congresscritters have clearance to review such do ents.
