For example, you could take a quote from Shillary where she says she loves to eat steak, then rationalize that she likes blood, and probably eats children. At the end of it, it's just not a rational position.
My point was it was rational to her. If she is convinced (believes it), then you would think suicide / homicide would perhaps be a viable option. I'm not saying it is automatically; but by sheer numbers of people that believe it, there should be more incidents. Thus to spell out my point, I think her belief has a lot of built-in convenience.
What you're trying to say is that she was convinced of her opinion. That's not rational, that's just an excuse to justify the lack of reason or logic in the argument. It's all too common too, as seen around these places.
