Well, most of the stuff like poll data sharing with the Russians, so they knew where to target their disinformation campaigns panned out pretty well if memory serves. That though, is not quite criminal, unless one counts treason, but that is a lot tougher row to hoe.

Since trump didn’t openly conspire with Russia, that definitely means he’s a good president who deserves reelection.
Democrats need to stop being preoccupied with Trump and start focusing on a coherent platform to run on in 2020. We in live in a catchphrase, 140 characters, gif driven society now, which is why conservative appeal-to-emotion populist tactics seem to be more effective in driving their base to the polls. Tell Billy Bob in Kansas that the Luh-tinos are coming for his jerb and women, that the Demonrats wanna kill babies and take away his guns, and you'll get him to the polls faster than you can blink. The Democrat strategy works for coastal voters, but they need a Midwest strategy if they don't want to get sucker punched by a silent majority again. Cold fact is that the majority of people in the Midwest don't care about global warming, transgender bathroom laws, and the illegal immigration situation beyond the visceral concern of keeping Paco out of his neighborhood. Beto celebrating the fact he would tear down every border wall isn't going to win him support in Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, etc. Most Democrats share his sentiment.
The Democrats have the coasts locked up no matter. The anti-Trump sentiment is so strong with the core DNC base, that Democrats moving a bit toward the center on some issues won't effect their chances. They don't need to convince CA, NY, MA. They need to retake the Rust Belt. Their platform should center on: Jobs, healthcare, and assuaging fears that their guns won't be taken away and Paco will not be invading their communities. Once you start taking about global warming or "privilege," they'll tune out.
