Seems less risky though. There's room at the table for several. I don't think she has any legit POTUS hopes, but she wants to not really be targeted by the entire GOP because she toed the line on accusing the POTUS of basically treason.

She's a lot like Mitch in that they're both cutthroat but calculating... there's no room for emotion there, just calculated strategies. Much like Mitch was called a RINO and everything else under the sun when he was in the minority because some people felt he wasn't combative or bombastic enough, same applies to Nancy now.
