    They have Charlotte as a 51% favorite over the Spurs tonight. That's probably why they project a 5-3 record from here.

    Do we own the tiebreak in a 3way tie with OKC and LAC?

    I don't know specifically how the three way breakers work, but right now, we own the head to head with both. Most scenarios have you breaking the three way tie, one team comes out on top, and then you drop back to the head to head tiebreakers for the remaining two teams. In that case, we could be either 6th or 7th.

    The Spurs would win a 3-way tie with OC and LAC. Since none of them will win their division, you look at records against the other teams in the tie. The Spurs are 4-3 against the other two, LAC is 4-4, and OC is 3-4. The Clippers would get 2nd in the tiebreaker.

    They begged for it and that's what they'll get. I don't feel sorry for them, tbh.

    This. So many games this year they mailed it in for not respecting the opponent enough. Loser mentality that also goes as far as the coach.

    As long as this team plays the Warriors in the 1st round. Next year's team should be improved anyway. This year's roster doesn't deserve anything more than a playoff appearance/1st round sweep.

    9 game winning streak, wins against some of the best teams in the league....and it all meant absolutely nothing because they couldn't win a game against the ing Miami Heat at home.

    The softest ing team of the last 5 years with zero heart....and it starts with the coach who checked out years ago.......

    I hope that fools gold streak was worth a 4-0 embarrassing sweep at the hands of the Warriors and losing several spots in the draft....pretty hilarious how re ed the Pop suckers on this sub continue to look time and time again tbh....
    And couldn’t secure a win against another non-playoff team when the game is crucial for seeding tonight. These guys show so much pride out there.

    This. Lucking into a first round win would be a ing joke, this team has no business being anywhere near the playoffs.

    I legit hope they get their pushed in by the Dubs for the 2nd year in a row, I'm sure Pop will spread the cheeks the moment he sees Kerr like he's Wade Robson on a family vacation tbh.

    whatever happens in the playoffs you can be sure Pop will blame it on Murray being out for the season and will run the same group back for another year. Only thing he'll add are the draft picks and maybe 1 decent player with the MLE

    What else can we do after the nephew debacle. I fantasized about KD coming here but thats not realistic. Who's gonna take Derozan if you shop him around and give you something of value in return? Nobody. LMA? All you can do is develop your young players and add more young players. If you had a young stud everything changes but you don't. You have a solid player in White but he's no star at least not yet and his athletic limitations might prevent him from becoming one.
    All you can do is draft and develop and hope a gem even better than White emerges.

    Wrong. You can trade Mills and Forbes and then play Lonnie Walker and draft picks instead. You could try and get something back for Mills or get rid of him in the draft and open up cap space to sign a decent wing. There's plenty of room for improvement and I fully expect Pop to stand pat

    Wrong, no one is gonna take Patty's contract. So in other words give away a pick to get rid of Mills, another wrong move. You're gonna play Lonnie Walker when he's ready to play. The moments he played he was horrible. I have 100% faith that Pop knows what he's doing there. Everything that has to do with development of players i trust Pop and his stuff completely. The Warriors are still out there, no need to squander picks while a superteam is out there. You develop the ones you have and you draft as best you can. We're gonna waste LMA's prime, whatever, you can't trade him anyway, nor Derozan.
    I was hoping we tank next season but i don't see it.

    Still think the Spurs finish 7th. Clippers are a game up on the Spurs but have a tougher schedule:

    Cleveland
    Memphis
    Houston
    Lakers
    @Golden State
    @Utah
    could see two losses for the Clips

    Why would anyone wanna give us something for Mills. As Spurs fan, we say his contract is toxic and is not expiring soon, he is negative on and off court, so why would anyone wants him?

    losing teams or teams that have some Spurs castoff trying to implement the Spurs way into a young team (there are many of both) are always looking for players to come in and demonstrate the Spurs way, so maybe we can find one more sucker out there, just like there are always teams bringing in front office people to somehow implement the Spurs way in dysfunctional front offices. heck we need some of the corporate knowledge ourselves I hope we can dump Patty and go get HOTS back.

    Nobody is taking Patty...not many teams rely on their backup PG with no defense or playmaking skills to be their team leader.....especially if they have a strong enough coaching presence...

    The stuff that Patty is beloved by the FO for is overrated when it comes to overall winning and most teams have guys like him on their squad, the difference is that they are usually not one of the highest paid players on the team...

    I disagree. Patty is a huge addition in the locker room for his leadership. Not everyday that you see a guy like Patty first to meet the players back to pat them in the back, to wave that towel and boost their morale. It’s not all talent in the NBA. Celtics with all their talent is underperforming because of lack of morale. Patty is a glue especially to young guys, he’s been there. He’s a champ. He has a great at ude. Other teams love to rub some of that Spurs culture and Patty has a lot of that. But I think he’s not the problem. He’s a streak shooter, but forced to play heavy minutes for lack of personnel. In a healthy them, he’ll not even gonna get scouted and will get his 10-12 points and you didn’t know what hit you. I doubt he gets traded.

    Lol lockerroom guy when these guys can’t even respect their opponents and get up for games they should be winning. Not to mention his toxic on court play by letting his man blow by him all the time on defense, his streaky shooting, and overall poor basketball IQ.

    Didn’t we bring in those scrubs Q-Pon and Dante plus having that loser Pau be the lockerroom guys? Give me a player with talent over a guy who’s best skill to the team is towel waving. That lockerroom influence stuff is so overrated especially with this loser squad who doesn’t show the right effort all the time.
