On the westside for some puffy tacos ... It is a staple in san anto... Also just imagine those streets and backs streets lined up with spurs fans yelling in the streets clapping strangers hands for the 5 chips... Take it all in buddy, have a safe trip!!

I will always appreciate what he did for the Spurs team mates, the city, and the world of basketball. Never anyone like him in bb skills or will to win in San Antonio. I was privileged to see that drive in the finals against the Heat from a seat behind the basket and was absolutely astounded at his heart and determination to go through the whole Heat team if necessary. That play broke their will and their hearts. It was over. It will be in my memories of Manu as the final statement of greatness.

I've had his picture as a Jedi Knight as my avatar for so many years I can't even remember when I put it up. But I feel his "Force" will be with him--and inspire Spurs fans--forever.

I was behind the basket too. It was something to behold. I've watched it many times, but that was the moment 'we knew' what was coming. Thursday is going to be intense and really fun!!

After the ceremony the food is thing I’m most excited for.

All these tips are great, some I need to try. Keep in my mind it will be late after the ceremony and the most famous 24/7 restaurant I know of is Mi Tierra's downtown. It's like going to Mexico and really fun at night. I like Rosarios for the food better, but they aren't open 24 hours and Mi Tierra's is an experience everyone visiting SA should have. People say it's 'tourist place' and it is for very good reason!

So glad you are making the game! We decided to get a great hotel for this special occasion when normally we drive home about an hour away. This is being treated like a championship celebration to my wife and I...excepted we've already !#$$ing won!

So the original tickets I thought I had were cancelled by the StubHub seller...probably so he could sell them for like twice what I "bought" them for.

And I was sad.

But yesterday I found out a friend who helps with Spurs social media stuff was able to get me 2 tickets as a belated birthday gift.

And now I am happy again.

Gonna be one of a night.

Man, I really wish I could enjoy the ceremony and celebrate Manu's career.....

But I just know it'll be a stark reminder of what a pathetic loser team this is and how soft Pop has become (he's old, it happens).....

Instead of great leadership and team building that we had with Timmy/Manu, we have losers like LMA/Derozan/Pop who don't really give a about winning and fake culture guys like Patty angling for his next fat extension from the clueless PATFO....
