Props to League Pass for streaming the whole thing. And props to Elliott for letting the chant go on for a while at one point. That was damn cool.
Love the guy to shreds and as a speaker - He is a great basketball player...

Even on their idol's night, HOTS lives rent free
Because you are a ing millennial, go check your phone´s battery or something meaningful for your intellect.
Exactly
I'm predicting the future..
Be glad this is your franchise. Could be a lot worse.
Like the team north of the Red River retiring a guy’s jersey who averaged 5 and 5 for his career.
long live the great emmanuel david ginobili, tbh
And uncle Dennis
There was a great vibe in that place tonight! Thank goodness we won! As for the ceremony, it was intense, fun-spirited, and on point! Had a blast! A dude next to me from Argentina had a killer Manu tattoo on his arm and Pop as well. He was very emotional and you could tell it was a big deal for he and his wife....the same for my wife and I!
Viva Manu!

I am so lucky that “Grandpa Juice” aka @manuginobili played for so long that I had a chance to share the court with him. Gracias Manu for everything you have done for this game, all the international players and the @spurs family! I am very honored I can call you a friend!
#GraciasManu #20
Really nice ceremony last night. Damn I wish he was still playing. He had that fire in the belly that makes one a champion. A great guy and wonderful family man. Wish nothing but, the best for Manu and his family. Thanks for the memories, Manu. You were one of a kind. Enjoy the rest of your life!![]()
What did the Mexican say nigas?
I missed this snoozefest
I host the 99 draft video of Manu in my YT channel, and woke up today with like 20+ comments on my inbox reading "I'm here because of Duncan's joke" and the like. Hilarious.

Great night, great ceremony, and well deserved after a great career. Manu is a true legend and deserved every moment.
And shame on all the heads who came in here trying to dump all over Manu on his retirement night. His number is hanging in the rafters of one of the NBA's greatest franchises, and you are still just sitting around pounding on your keyboards and trying to critique things that you couldn't achieve in your wildest dreams.
They're trolling. When you acknowledge them and show anger towards them, they get what they're looking for.
I know, but it's still frustrating that it's become like 60% of the content on the site.
People who get their kicks by spending their time trying to enrage strangers on the internet seriously need to reevaluate their lives.
spurs should’ve had a speech writer help. thought the speeches went on for too long tbh. was hard to understand oberto.
i would’ve preferred brent barry hosting and replacing tony with charles barkley. barkley could’ve given an outsider’s point of view and would’ve been the funniest one there.
That was great last night!
Of course the morons of which you speak are sure to hate someone who has achieved the respect of millions of people internationally. However I'm sure their own shortcomings are someone else's fault.![]()
Brent Barry would have been perfect.
Tough to watch. It was great. Timmy is the greatest Spur of all time but Ginobili’s probably my favorite Spur. What Pop, Tim, Manu, and Tony did for my hometown transcends sports. Ultimate compe or and winner.
Wonderful ceremony, awesome fans and the game ended up being enjoyable as oppose to the blowout that was expected. At least they won in the end.
Kinda felt like it was saying goodbye to huge part of your childhood onward seeing the big 3 in the same room again.
