Trump to roll back Obama-eralightbulb standards, will pollute more and cost consumers $12 billion
The Trump administration’s Department of Energy (brilliant light bulb Jimmy Ricky!) announced that it plans to roll back some of the standards established near the end of Obama’s presidency.
Under those standards, vibration service lamps, rough service lamps, three-way incandescent lamps, shatter-resistant incandescent lamps, and higher-lumen (2,601-3,300 lm) incandescent lamps would need to reach higher efficiency standards starting Jan. 1, 2020.
The NRDC says that the bulbs in question are used in over 2.7 billion sockets,
and that the potential costs to consumers in leaving the highly inefficient technology unregulated will be up to $12 billion over the next five
years.

Trash’s ‘dreadful space’ in Chicago is the windy city’s ‘biggest’ retail space failure
President Donald Trump is responsible for the “biggest failure” in Chicago retail space development,
Karr said she examined the plan for riverfront retail space at the tower’s base with Trump Organization executive Charles Kaplan before the 2005 groundbreaking.
“The way it’s designed now, it’s never going to lease up,”
In retrospect, she was correct.
“It’s a dreadful space,” Karr explained.
“You could have some kind of luxury call center there, or maybe a high-end med spa, but not at the prices they were asking.”
“A decade after the tower opened in 2009, it has just one retail tenant,
a salon that occupies an enclosed 3,400-square-foot suite above the hotel lobby,” they reported.
“The entire deck-level space remains empty, its blank beige walls on full display for the millions of tourists who stroll along the river each year.
No part of it has ever been leased, according to Trump Organization tax appeal do ents filed in Cook County
and analyzed by The Real Deal.”
“Trump Tower’s failure is an outlier in Chicago’s compe ive retail market,
where no comparable space has languished on the market for nearly this long,”

TRUMP’S FINANCIAL STATEMENTS ARE SO FULL OF LIES THAT HIS ACCOUNTANTS PUT A WARNING LABEL ON THEM
Newly obtained do ents show the brazen methods with which the president inflated his assets to banks and insurance companies.
In a 2011 do ent known as a “Statement of Financial Condition,” Trump purported to own 55 home lots ready to sell for at least $3 million apiece at his Southern California golf course. Yet, in reality, he’d only been zoned for 31, thereby overstating his future revenue by a cool $72-odd million.
In a do ent from 2012, he tacked on an extra 800 acres to the size of his roughly 1,200 acre Virginia vineyard.
In 2013, in an attempt to bolster his bid for the Buffalo Bills, a two-page “Summary of Net Worth” conveniently omitted his ownership of two hotels, in Chicago and Las Vegas, meaning, per the Post,
“that some of Trump’s actual debt load was hidden from anyone reading the statement.”
In perhaps the most brazen, Trumpian “exaggeration,” he
invented an extra 10 stories at Trump Tower, claiming that the building was 68 stories when, in actuality—you can literally look at the building and count them—there are 58.
, the accountants who prepared the do ents literally put a disclaimer on them, effectively stating that Trump was full of :
When compiling these statements of financial condition,
those accountants have said they did not verify or audit the figures in the statements.
Instead, when Trump provided them data, they wrote it down without checking to see whether it was accurate . . .
The do ents begin with two-page disclaimers,
warning of various ways in which the statements don’t follow normal accounting rules.
The accountants note that Trump is the source of many buildings’ valuations—and that,
contrary to normal accounting rules,
he had inflated them by counting future income that wasn’t guaranteed.

Trump's new Capitol Hill hitman: Jim Jordan tries to block House investigations
Freedom Caucus member who mocked Michael Cohen is trying to shut down Elijah mings' inquiry into Trump money
Jordan has loudly objected to any and all Democratic efforts to probe the Trump administration or the president's personal and business finances.
Instead, he has pressured Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to assign a brand new special counsel to investigate alleged anti-Trump bias on Robert Mueller's team of federal prosecutors — and
even tried to have Rosenstein impeached.
The House Oversight Committee has already seen an 18 percent drop in funding over the last decade, who controlled spending?
Jordan is the only ranking member in the entire House to lobby for cuts to his own committee’s budget this session.
Jordan criticized Democrats last month for bringing in Michael Cohen
Jordan and Meadows filed a letter of complaint about mings’ decision to open an investigation into allegations made by Cohen during his testimony.
Between June of 2012 and March of 2013, "the value of the President's assets appears to have skyrocketed by $4.2 billion," mings' letter notes, explaining that
this increase in value came from only a "single line item" in Trump's assets that did not exist in 2011 or 2012.
mings’ letter notes that these statements still "raise questions about the President's representations of his financial affairs on these forms and on other disclosures, particularly relating to the President's debts."
it is no longer a surprise that Republicans on the Oversight Committee are now opposed to oversight itself —especially since a Republican entered the White House,"
The White House, for its part, is also trying to obstruct mings’ attempt at oversight. Earlier this month, White House counsel Pat Cipollone wrote
a letter to mings rejecting the committee's request for do ents as "extraordinarily intrusive."

What a grifter.
when Trash bleets out "no collusion", he's lying
It's typically American that we elected a grifter President.
Right wing Americans defend the confidence man.

Trump cheats at golf:
https://nypost.com/2019/03/30/trump-...nd-celebs-say/“Trump’s caddy came up to me and said, ‘You know that shot you hit on the par 5?’” Tirico says. “‘It was about 10 feet from the hole. Trump threw it in the bunker. I watched him do it.’”
Reilly, a former Sports Illustrated columnist who has played with Trump in the past, spoke to dozens of players — both amateur and professional — to recount some of the president’s worst cons on the course, starting with his declared handicap of 2.8.
In layman’s terms, the lower the handicap, the better the player. Jack Nicklaus, winner of a record 18 major golf les and generally considered the greatest golfer in the history of the game, has a handicap of 3.4.
No one got hurt so no problem.
how is anyone even concerned with trump's golfing? how ing pathetic some people are that they live to worry about another man's life on the green.
Goes to character.
Lol if you guys found out Obama cheated at golf you'd be all over it
But it's Trump so you shields get activated
