I want the 8th seed for the draft pick. We are not ringing this year anyways. It would be nice to play Denver in the first round even if we would probably lose in 6 games.
Can’t believe spurs fan actually defend that kind of gotry. Tim and Manu were legit lockerroom guys. Patty stopped giving a after his shoulder injury and basically got fat after his contract extension. Yeah some guy I want leading my locker room culture.

You can package Mills with another player. It's not like he's impossible to trade. Of course nobody would give you anything of value back for him, but he's not untradeable. Spurs could've traded him with Cunningham to Phoenix for Ariza with maybe a 2nd rounder added to that. He's easy to package
Warriors lost. Nuggets beat Thunder. Jazz won.
Kings are a bad matchup for us on Sunday but we’re in luck. Since they play Houston tonight they have a great chance at losing and being eliminated from playoff contention. Meaning they could be deflated the on Sunday when reality hits. May even rest a player or two.
14 days till the NBA Playoffs.
If we can't beat a deflated team on a back to back at home then why bother making the playoffs.

Clippers have lowkey got on my nerves..Just super annoying how well they have played with this ragtag team. Kudos to Doc Rivers, a masterful coaching job this season.
Spurs' best to avoid the 8th seed (still think Dubs gets #1) is OKC continuing to spiral..

And why would Steve Kerr want Steph to go up against Patrick Beverley in 7-games series instead of matching up Patty Mills/Bryn Forbes ?He knows full well Pop will have both averaging +30 MPG in the series while White gets "these playoffs are not for him" treatment on route to a 20 MPG role...

He's easy to package - except that you have to package up that $12.5M salary (and $13.2M the next year). It's not that he doesn't have any value. He just doesn't have THAT much value. So you pretty much have to give up something to make the trade, or take back somebody else who also has a bad contract. He's an albatross, but he's our albatross now.
Maybe next year, when he's expiring.
