Are you saying unaccompanied minors are paying to live somewhere - I was under the impression that they are fostered and we, the taxpayers, are paying for their food and living expenses in addition to educating them. And for the rest (accompanied) she did not say contributing (much less cover) - she said "pay TONS in taxes" Point is - they should not be here - we should not be paying anything to educate/feed/board them.

There is a federal program for this, surprisingly called the Unaccompanied Refugee Minors Program. There are currently 1300 children in the system, about a third of the number during its peak in the those terrible amnesty days of one Ronald Wilson Reagan.
