Guys like chris are obviously very insecure. They know deep down their "religion" is nothing but a means of iden y for them and has absolutely no basis in literature or practice. It lacks consistensy, word tracing. The new testmenet is completely doctored. I have never ever met a chilristisn that even memorises word for word the bibble let alone 10% of it. Muslims on the other hand, you can go to a mosque and find 5 people who do. They're that ignorant about their own religion. And their insecurity is absolutely based on the fact that they know modern day christianitys is but an iden y. Its loss its way a long time ago.

In America, it's a lot of Joel Olsteen motivational speaking these days, moving into non denominational Christianity away from the traditional.

Yes the Christian life is a struggle. We are never going to have that moment, at least not while we live, where we can say that we have ‘conquered pride and now were moving on to jealousy’! However, the Apostle Paul exclaims in Romans 6 that we have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? Yet, a little later he commands us to not let sin reign in our mortal bodies. So, how can sin be dead to us and yet at the same time still be alive enough to have the opportunity to reign? There is a really interesting dynamic going on here.

I gave you a definition of Christian. It doesn't mention true faith (what the is "true faith" or "true Christian"? Does putting "true" in front of words change their meanings?)
