I didn't want the Spurs to re-sign him(despite being a fan of his), but you're correct, he would have been a nice fit with them since Mills, Beli and Bertans(although I don't think the Spurs could have kept both him and Kyle IIRC) never pass up shots..

Kyle's still a decent player. It's just that he didn't want to take the steps to become a very good player. Memphis wasn't really a great place for him, with their insistence on playing big and their constant lack of shooters. He'd be really good on the Warriors if they move on from Draymond. But even Green has to shoot every once in a while, and Anderson's reluctance to do that is as damaging of a flaw as I've ever seen.

He had every opportunity to improve on that flaw in SA too. He got the minutes and playing time and even a respected shooting coach on the Spurs staff to help. It all comes down to him just not having the ambition or mentality to take the next step.
