Didnt know Darius Songaila works with the Spurs
All these new posters are teenage boys from Lithuania who don't have access to NBA games in their country and all their knowledge comes from box scores. They haven't even watched DMo play the last 3 years yet they keep posting his highlights from that one season 4 years ago, ignoring the way he played after the injury (he succc so bad after the injury, I am trying to temper my expectations and prepare for the worst but these keedz keep hyping him up without any evidence).
Back on topic: DMo's locker seat is next to Eubanks, expecting similar seating and role on the bench too

Worst post ever on this board and there's no close second.
He's supposedly a Rox fan, disgruntled because of the way things went down. He's just bitter about all of the times that Manu ed the Rox.
Rox? You mean that team in Texas that is led by the chinless fat guy who hides behind his beard? That is owned by a soon to be bankrupt taco bell knock off owner who fired long time mascot because it was too expensive? The team that always plays in half empty Hyunday Center? Team that is generally managed by a 3 chin nerd who doesn't believe in chemistry and hasn't resigned a single rookie he drafted?
Suuuure, I'm a Rox fan!
That's funny but not nearly as funny as when you said, "Yeah, that's the most insulting post of all-time. I'd rather get gang raped by ms-13 than have that ing scrub associated with El Salvador, tbh. " In the Hawks game thread. That was the last time I laughed out loud reading ST.
If he plays you guys will love him, he is fundamentally sound, has a great post game, with both hands, and plays very smart defense - will take a charge and is a legit 7 footer in the lane, he is not a shot blocker, but more of a shot botherer.....causes a lot of missed shots.
Average rebounder, very fast in a dead sprint, sees the floor and passes well, and can hit the three ball at a good percentage. I would not be surprised if Pop keeps him for a few years.....he can play, just needs someone to believe in him.
I think the system the Spurs play is suited perfectly for him.
DD
Sounds wonderful!
Trade for Capela in the summer if we sign him?
We will throw in Forbes and Mills to make the salaries work! Great 3 point shooters!
Deal?
According to basketball reference, he's getting paid $59,000. He's insurance, and is the NBA equivalent of tapping the $5 button on a cellphone investment app.
This is ban worthy tbh.
You guys got a good player. He was a decent player for us and was developing nicely. Too bad his agent screwed him over. Bad situation he ended up in.
Is this for real?? It would be funny if I see him on spurs bench tonight. Will be attending d game...
I'm new to this forum, but I saw a lot of posts from user "TheGreatYacht" that had all kinds of inappropriate content (racism, phobia, sexism, str8 up insults...). I saw others use word " " casually, many have borderline porn pictures in their signatures. So I just assumed everything goes, including making innocent jokes at Emanuel Ginobili's expense ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
On paper Donatas is better than Poeltle. Do you guys think DMo will take over the C spot?
You're not wrong. You're fine to say it, but it's a triggering statement. You won't get banned, though. This forum is like Lord of the Flies. Us adults have to keep the kids in line as best we can, but there are no rules.
In an interview with Lithuanian site 15 MIN, Motiejunas’ agent, Tadas Bulotas, isn’t giving the Spurs a shot at beating the Warriors. “I think the teams are not much comparable. Even with Donatas (Motiejunas) joining the team, the Spurs have very little chance.”

The this dude serious guess he knows Dmo not coming back
Water is wet.
I guess I need to type a little bit.
First, I'm surprised about the level of certain posters writing. I mean, language. Myself, sometimes my words would make the devil himself to cover his ears. But, thanks to ever-present current political correctiveness I am just a humble grammar school boy posting here a bit.
About DMo and China. For the next year he has a guaranteed agreement with his club for about 3,5 mils, that could go up to about 3,7 - 3,8 mils. That's in Dmo's pocket. Teams usually provide with living accommodations and cars and etc... Chinese league has strict restrictions how many foreign players they can have, otherwise more fringe NBA or Euroleague players would play in China. So, DMo has agreement and if nothing bad happens to him - next year he will play for the same club. Maybe it is already a signed contract with an NBA clause, could be. I was surprised that DMo didn't sign with any European club last year, but his season was over later and best Euro teams didn't have injured players problem. Plus, DMo is not cheap. For Europe. To play for the Spurs I bet DMo would pay the club himself substantial money. Because he wants to see, if he can get a crack at the NBA again. Of course, DMo's Chinese contract translates into something around 8 mils in NBA, but I'm sure that DMo would sign for the less money. If a guy plays bball and likes it, to play in the NBA - a dream come true.
What happened between DMo and Rockets GM Morey - to me it's a mystery, but things were unnatural. That rescinded trade to the Detroit - ??????
OK. I don't know, how DMo is physically right now. Have now clue. But if he could play full two full seasons in China, being a workhorse for his club - I think that he still can play.
After Howard went down and DMo finally got his chance, he started to shine. Dude can ball, for sure. But a disk slipped in his back and the rest is history.
As a poster before, I watched too plenty of DMo in NBA. If nothing is bothering him health wise right now - yes, he is NBA player. 10+ minutes of quality ball.
And all that talk about his bad defense- it is what it is. He is a "tweener". In the NBA not good enough to be a starting C. His natural position is a PF, but in modern street-ball NBA, he needs to be in the right system, otherwise he is a dead fish.
We'll see. Personally, I hope that he still can play in the NBA. Clyde Drexler, who was an announcer during Motiejūnas' time in Houston, enjoyed "Captain's Hook" game. DMo was a tricky tricksy. Can't wait to see him on the floor.
I really like your support of the Spur's new player,Hope he works out for us. I do have to say, as someone who has lived in the Baltics, people in Lithuania stream NBA games just like everyone else interested in the NBA worldwide. So, I think it isn't just box score info.
