Just a reminder that spring official visits have officially started.
This sucks! But great that it was discovered before something real bad happened to Floyd.
Herman confirmed today that LB De'Gabriel Floyd has spinal stenosis and won't be playing in 2019.
He wil be re-evaluated in January 2020.
Good thing they caught it early enough. Also a good thing the Horns grabbed 4 LBs this cycle with at least 1 that can play right away in Caleb Johnson.
This isn't the end all for Mr. Floyd. I've read that, if he gets it under control he could continue to play. I believe several NFL players have played with this condition in the past and currently do.
I'll add that by no means do I claim to be a Dr, so if anyone on here knows more about this condition please elaborate. Thanks in advance.

Lindberg is at Aggy today and Dorbah is visiting LSU.
Was he ever leaning towards anyone instate?
My wife who is a doctor and knows nothing about him said, “I don’t know how a kid with that condition ever play again. Is he any good?”
I'm not real sure that there was any instate schools with a chance. The real surprising thing to me was he didn't give aggy much of a look, being that his Dad played there.
He is about as good of a prospect that you could want at LB. Probably one of the best Texas has signed since Sergio, IMO. Thanks for the input.

Who was that point guard that went to Texas and had the same issue, I'm pretty sure it ended his career.
Maybe the Floyd situation gives Flowe the perception of plenty of early PT. He’s the best recruit in the country IMO. Bressee is good too but I’d take Flowe.
That guard was TJ Ford, I believe.
