Do we even know whether the coaches have been by his school or not? Texas likes to do a strong background check and mental evals on all their recruits before offering. Maybe seeing him in person and getting that right feeling will cons ute his offer. He is absolutely worthy of one from watching his film.
Sooo.... This guy was wanted as a DB at first. Then Texas decided he was good enough take offensively as a receiver. Through 3 months, he looks like the best and most natural runner Texas has had since...? He's a remarkable athlete and seems to have the right at ude as well. I know he was a fringe five-star, but he's taken me by surprise so far.
The Football Brainiacs had an update on DB Ethan Pouncey of Winter Park (Fl.).
Pouncey told them that Texas will visit him this Spring and that an offer might be coming. Apparently he hasn't done many camps (if any?) so far due to an injury.
Barton Simmons is very bullish on Conyers.
Coaches will be able to hit the road starting April 15th.
Carrington has been following him for a little bit, so I'm sure they have the info they need on him.
