It took a special type of gotry to make me root for the Mavs and the 2011 Heatles managed to get that recipe just right tbh.
Yeah, Tyson Chandler, Shawn Marion, and Jason Kidd were all great defenders. They were starting DeShawn Stevenson who was a decent defender as well.

If I were Dirk, why would I travel to SA on a meaningless road game anyways? I'd would tell Carlisle, DNP me, RETIRED.![]()
Yeah, I've definitely noticed the downgrade in talent and record from years past, could still see Pop doing it just to get him some late season minutes while likely not affecting the outcome of the game
WTF is 19:00? My watch only goes up to 12.
Just subtract 10. So the game’s at 9.
Um subtract 12 and the game is at 7
Very fitting his last appearance will be in SA against the team and coach who challenged him so much during his career.
Dirk said that Pop was the first guy to text him in congratulations when they beat the heat. They both are basketball ambassador extraordinaires...
That said, I'd be shocked if he played over 10 minutes after playing big minutes last night.
Lol. Whatever. That doesn’t even make sense.
i dno. watching dirk annihilate the lakers and make ibaka his was enough for me to root for the guy to end up with a chip. seeing guys like marion/chandler/kidd/peja/terry ring was also cool, even if they were playing for dallas.
the only version of the mavs that i really hated was the ~2007 ones with josh howard, devin harris, dampier etc
i also hated that dirty najera but i always like finley/nash/dirk so i didnt have too much hatred for those early 2000's mavs.
I was with you until you mentioned Terry. that turtleheaded POS to this day tbh.
to be fair i put him last
So 19:00 AM or PM?
Thanks for the help![]()
LMAO why would pop rest player tonight? They have 4 more games left to play this year after this one
Those guys were fine,. Great players. Great compe ors. The guy we hated was that factory Cuban.
Spurs taking this one easily
send dirk off the right way
on his ass after losing to the spurs
Doncic is out. Dirk just broke out crying after the Spurs gave him a video tribute. Paul George also not playing for OKC tonight. Let's get that win
poodle has looked awkward as on offense
First time I saw Dirk, I thought "taller, but clumsier version of Detlef Shremp with an ugly shot". I guess, practice makes perfect.
I never liked how quickly Cuban dismantled championship team. I thought they had couple more good runs in them (I mean Tyson was extremely important piece for them).
Some may like Dirk, some can hate him, but the dude was true pro. Another thing - how many times he spent playing for the hopeless German NTs? That's an example of true manhood.
