It's not that the Spurs are in a great position, it's just that the Lakers situation is so much worse, only you and other diehard fans will lean on the obvious negatives like the payroll and ineffectual top stars. ingram has a blood clot issue. Lonzo has no jumper and is historically bad at FT shooting (as well as 3 point). He also gets hurt too easy. Lebron is focused on Hollywood instead of actually playing defense. Lakers have no coach and their front office is a mess. It's harder to find really any silver lining.
