Philly in 7.
Good matchup, Philly in 6..
The Nets will give Philly some trouble. This is a good matchup for Brooklyn. Russell is gonna be a handful for the overrated Simmons and I like BK's energy and depth. And with Embiid not at 100 percent who knows.
Philly in 6.
Should be a close one. Sixers and Celtics are probably the two most overrated teams in the entire league.
Sixers in 5 or 6
if embiid is out for more than one game sixers in 7
if emniid misses series nets in 6

Sixers in 6. This has the potential to be the best first round series.
Nets in 6. Brooklyn is a much better team than their record indicates.
And with Simmons out there, I actually expect the next backcourt to outplay the Sixers.
This would be the "surprise" of the east
Boban warming up with 18/8/6 with 2 three pointers. In only 28 minutes.
Nets are a bad matchup, but against the Bucks or Raptors they had no real chance. DLo may be better than Simmons soon. Nets are scrappy as . This could be interesting.
philly's talent is off the charts but it just seems like the parts are greater than the whole...
they should still beat the nets though.
Great individual talent, but you can't really maximize the combination of Embiid/Simmons/Butler, it isn't a natural fit..
i really think simmons is the awkward fit. on a team with so many guys that can generate offense (embiid, butler, harris), a ball dominant point guard will be an awkward fit. particularly one that is a complete non-threat off the ball.
but you dont just part with talent like simmons. i dno what the solution is.
Sixers in 5 if Embiid is healthy and plays all games.
Sixers in 7 if he misses a game or two.
Nets frontcourt are lacking size and strenght, and that may hurt them. Allen does'nt look like a starting Center in NBA, and Kurucs is just too small for pf.
Boban
Boban in in the first quarter![]()
That said, Nets really seem like a tough matchup for the Sixers. They may just win this series.
