Floss, any update on DB Clark Phillips? I remember a lot of positives about him when Texas offered, but haven't heard anything in a while.
Pouncey is not only an elite athlete, but I would also consider him low hanging fruit. I'm really hoping we go hard after him.
Nothing on Phillips, unfortunately.
He said he would visit after UT offered, but it's been radio silent since then.
A&M's AD is seen as a strong candidate for the job.
I agree, he was my favorite after Ringo also. Texas' depth chart and commitments over the last 2 years is scaring some of these kids away, especially when they see an easier path to playing time at other schools. And that's exactly what these other schools are telling them.
One huge hurdle is Texas' top priorities at CB aren't from Texas.
Kimber has no problem being a mercenary, and recruiting against Georgia simply isn't easy.
