If the Spurs got blown out, you might be able to shrug it off.
I gotta feeling this game cannot be shrugged off. Denver goes into game 3 with huge momentum, knowing they can take the Spurs best punch and come back from big deficits.
Spurs have reason to doubt themselves, and I wouldn't be surprised if Denver takes over from here.
Someone who actually gets it. Denver has all the momentum going into game 3. They don't fear or respect Spurs, and to me that matters.

We were up as much as we were because they were bricking open shots and missing gimmes.
They don't have any good shooters or reliable offensive players other than Beasley..they could easily brick shots all series..

Unlike virtually any other 2-seed, Denver doesn't have a single great offensive player..they don't have anything on offense..

Pop's lineups killed the spurs, that lineup he started the 4th with typically can't be used in the playoffs. Patty and Rudy's minutes need to be reduced.

The miss call on Forbes followed by a lose ball foul on LMA really showed how poor the NBA officials can be. It absolutely plays on your mind. Followed by the T on Pop when you could clearly see Pop yelling out multiple times at the ref.

Yeah that was epic. He doesn't shoot that well when he is by himself in an empty gym.
When Murray comes around the pick lma never comes up to contest really irritates me

It's like 2012 Game 3 vs the Thunder all over again. There might not be a Game 6 this time though.

I blame Aldridge and Demar. They've never seen a 20ft 2-pointer they didn't absolutely love. So scared to attack the rim it hurts.

Tim and Manu would tear this ty league apart with those bodies.
" B...but Aldridge is the best free agent we ever got. And we wouldn't be in the playoffs without him. And it's not that he's a dumb selfish , he's just a rythm scorer "

Lmao because we didn’t go up 2-0 against the best home team in the NBA?
No, because we blew a 19 point lead, twice.

Meh, it's what happens when you rely on Bryn, Beli, Patty to make shots to stay on the floor....when you play all of them at the same time against a streaky team with athletic guards/forwards, this will happen...this team is extremely flawed.....

Getting the split was key, just happy they go that tbh....

When Murray made his first shot after starting like 0/10 my first thought was "nothing like a hopeless, Australian POS to get you out of your funk".

Shooters will play better at home. Murray probably won't go off like that again. We're in good shape despite blowing a golden opportunity

And Aldridge was 'stripped' and it was an obvious foul

I don't see how momentum is a thing in today's NBA. It's really about runs, how many you get or how big they can get. Nets came into Philly will all momentum and the game was close until 76ers scored 50 in a quarter. Clippers obviously. Toronto just beat Magic by 30.

Then Pop has the audacity to bring in his pet to close out the game like he's good.

Taking Bryn out is fine, but bring someone in that's worth a atleast.

I don't buy into this bs. Spurs have had leads in both games. Should have won tonight. Denver's comeback was fluky. I have seen stuff like this happen in other playoff series in the past. In '14 OKC was up by 20 plus against the Clippers in game 4 in LA. OKC blew the lead and lost the game. Clippers tied the series 2-2 only to drop the next 2 games.

In '02 Celtics came back from 20 plus against the Nets in game 3 of the ECF. Won the game at home and took the series lead 2-1. I thought for sure the Nets would melt but they ended up winning 3 straight games after that.

Why would anybody be discouraged by this game? Obviously the meltdown sucks, but they dominated 3 quarters on the road, it took home biased officials + one of their volume chuckers getting hot to win the game

Denver's flaws were on full display again..
Right bc uppity athletic young guards never gain confidence and stay absurdly hot against the spurs in the playoffs

I caught myself imagining Dejounte in Mills place as our lead drifted away
Mills was terrible in the third and fourth quarter
    Oh well

Pop made some horrible decisions to rapidly swing momentum both times we had a near 20 point lead. But at least Denver is still looking really beatable.
