Drama was there despite the disallowed goal, tbh. In fact, I would argue that technology increased the drama, because, first, we had the shock of the goal being scored and celebrated and then we got the twist of it being disallowed.

You can't score directly nor assist with your hand, no matter of intention. Basically, whenever a hand helps you to score a goal, whether it is directly scored with the hand or not, it shouldn't count. That's the rule.
