Even if you are trying to sell the idea that you were alwways talking about the misuse of the word "Latino" as mulatto or people from Latin America, you are still wrong because:
1) Why answer that to a comment that said: "Spain is a Latin country"?
2) You can't use the "open a book" card that you used, because the misuse of the word Latino in the US is a street convention. No professionaly written book will have the definition of Latino as meaning "a person from Latin America".
Heck, you won't even find that definition in the URBAN DICTIONARY
