Denver was firing on all cylinders and shot the lights out, even on contested shots. Gotta win game 5 and move on with life, tbh.

On another note, DeRozan needs to be better. Tonight's performance was totally unacceptable.

No need for overreacting, this series was always going to come down to whether Denver's chuckers were going to make shots..their major advantage(bench) was always going to hurt the Spurs..

Still very winnable, although I would never bet on either of these teams

They played like Warriors lite in this game. A lot of their 3's were contested.

I was hoping Barton to keep bricking but that wasnt gonna happen he’s gonna make a couple of shots

That Craig dude was something else - Stephen Jackson esque performance

    Jokic dominated

Spurs need more production from their bench and White gotta let them 3s fly to have a shot next game

The nuggets are we thought they were. Now if you wanna crown em, then crown their ass.

But they are who thought they were. And we let em off the hook.

Pop and his hard-on for his bench and reserving better players more than any other team in the NBA.
    He is the anti-Thibs.

This series, Denver has come back from 19 pt leads, twice, and came back from 12 to dominate the entire game. The Spurs never threatened with a credible run.
The Spurs bench is not getting any better.
This is Denver's series to win.

No way DDR gets suspended for that right? Our role players are really due for a good shooting night

Nuggets could shoot 60% from 3 next game just as easily as they could shoot 10%..that's who they have been all year, they don't have reliable shooters and wing scorers..

If they make them, they'll beat the Spurs virtually every time since SA just doesn't have the personnel to keep up in the playoffs..against Golden State or Houston, Denver loses even when their chuckers make shots, since they just don't have much talent..Spurs don't have the volume 3-point shooting or 2-way players to keep up with a hot team..

Spurs low volume 3-point shooting gives them such a small margin for error..

Yep. Refs didn’t help either. I don’t know how Patty didn’t get that 3 + 1 early in the 4th

Spurs just got a small margin for error, and they need a bit of help from Denver as well to win this series

Cant really complain Denver is still the best draw for the spurs in the 1st round, but obviously Denver is more talented, theyre the 2 seed for a reason

The Nuggets were a mediocre 3-point shooting team this season, shooting 35% from 3 (17th in the NBA). Tonight, they hit 52% of their 3's (excluding garbage time), including a bunch of fluky-ass, desperation heaves at the last second.

When that happens, you tip your hat and move on to the next game.

Game 5 - Spurs are due for a breakout shooting game and a strong effort from the bench -

Nuggets played aggressive and Spurs did not respond - and nuggets confidence grew after that 2nd qtr

Beli looks like he never recovered from that injury - would have been nice to see Lonnie in there instead of Beli

Spurs need that extra day of rest - so this game 5 is their season.

All day was thinking to myself this series is far from over. Not surprised some people are let down though... it happens here... still a long series. Pop typically makes adjustments game to game anyhow. Something has to be done about the bench tho fr

Couldn't have said it better. Nuggets at 100% efficiency > Spurs at 100% efficiency. They have more talent. Still a winnable series though.

Pop agrees, sitting LMA, 24 pts, 9 RB, for the final 13.5 minutes

"The other team shot better," aka Pop's favorite excuse.
