the president hires the AG, and assumes that the AG will (albeit independently) carry out his vision.

that doesn't mean the AG has to also be the president's personal defense attorney.

Not the USA, not the cons ution or the law, but the charismatic leader. That's where we are now.

    Clinging to power trumps all.

Nothing wrong with AG knowing who's the Boss. Suck it up snowflakes, Holder and Lynch knew Obama was the Boss back in the day.

The President of the USA isn't justice. He took an oath to serve it and so did the AG.

No man stands above the law unless we no longer have a republic.
Any person (including Human- and Corporate-Americans) with enough money stands above the the corrupted legal system and its "technical lawyering"

(just wait until you see the rulings, for decades, of the oligarchy-corrupted Federal judiciary. See recent en banc in OH about abortion clinics. The Christian Taliban's "gag rule" will probably be Cons utional).

Now add that Repugs no longer have any good-faith in governing, only in destroying govt ("govt is the problem") and rigging govt for the oligarchy. And the Dems are too less, feckless, intimidated and let the Repugs run wild.

America is over, ed and un able.

rightwingnutjobs equating Trash-Barr to Obama-Holder is more evidence of their ignorant, silly main defense

Rather than "Repugs are great and good", it's always the hilariously stupid false equivalence of "see,Repugs are no worse than Dems"

As always, rightwingnutjobs are low hanging fruit.

Where did Holder defend Obama against criminal activity, against impeachment?

Did Obama specifically employ Holder for those objectives?

Did Holder "interview" (Barr's "President is above the law" memo) specifically for those objectives?

    Damage control via diversion unsuccessful.
The Rosenstein, Sessions, etc ... was much worse than imagined.

TRUMP ASKED ROSENSTEIN TO LIE FOR HIM AND ROSESTEIN REFUSED.

Now we see why the Mueller report was strange on obstruction. This president legitimately thinks he is some sort of Monarch. This BS about the horrors of a coup are now very understandable.

Trump is a nut who does not GAF about the rule of law. It is now written for all to see.
The interest will be in seeing which members of red team will try and defend the Orange ACTIONS.

    Wingman... Hatchetman?
“You will lie to the American people about my role in firing Sessions”

Now we get to winnow out the “Loyal” from those who don’t want to be a Banana Republic.
Step up Red team. It’s public.

    sorry

we said (those of us that knew the criminal stole this election)
    that 2.5 years ago

    we waited

we watched in horror as the GOP (govt of putin)
    defended every act of ery
defended the criminal as he tore our democracy - they even attacked patriots who defended our democracy
attacked the media who dared to report his ery

zero republi s honored their oath and instead pledged allegiance to a traitor and to russia

now they have the proof - again- right before their cult eyes - they can read the treason in the mueller report

    and they

    STILL CHOOSE TRUMP & RUSSIA

we have been screaming at the top of our lungs for americans to wake up

    the cult refuses

the less, spineless, less orange turd would not fire Mueller himself (as he did with "disloyal" Comey), he told McGahn to tell Rosey to fire Mueller, probably because he would have lied that it was Rosey's decision.

The bolded are NOT the same thing.
This is the disingenuous from blue team that just wont do.

Why must you try this very FOX-line maneuver?

How many times must you be told that the American people were basically split on the candidates in 2016.
You are claiming that the Russian interference (true) put Trump over the top (false). There is no proof of this. Zero.

    Yessir.

I would like this to dribble out piece by piece as this country needs to understand how serious this is.
This is far from done. Now that we take a look back, its tyrannical nature becomes understood in terms of what was said, and in some cases is still being said.
Sarah Sanders is just lying her makeup off as well. Why they dont just shut up at this point is beyond me...

I want to see red team reaction. Patriots...

I think Pootin's cyber army, which includes Assange dribbling out Dem emails for weeks with the known effect of stealing traction from Hillary, did contribute to seriously hurting Hillary.

But Comey/Nunes shifted PA, MI, WI just slightly to Trash in the last 10 days of the campaign, by 80K votes total and the EC win, according to 538/Silver

and yet again, a Repug candidate loses the popular vote by 2.8M votes but wins the perverse, anti-democratic EC.

Explain how the individual states Hillary barely won and lost in particular led to a Trump victory. Explain each Russian measure taken in each state and how much it is predicted the Russian effort changed the percentages. Include what went wrong in states like largely white Minnesota.

    Thanks.

Kathleen Jamieson laid out the best case I've seen for it and even that wasn't very strong. Where one would want evdence, she supplies deductive leaps and appeals to authority -- in particular her intensive faniliarity with opinion polling.

It’s pretty clear Putin understood that Clinton was going to be far harder on Russia.
But these are not stupid people, they understand that our government, through Congress, can still impose sanctions and such. But the plan to disrupt and divide through disinformation makes perfect sense. With a diverse country and differing political views that are allowed to flourish it’s an easy way to fight an enemy from within.

And it also bolsters the claim of extremists that diverse countries with too many individual rights are not viable. This is where the Nathan’s and frost king types actually take joy in the mess.
“ we can’t live with these people they aren’t like us “

I also think the unpredictable nature of Trump, as well as his impulsive actions, are far more than the Russians really bargained for.
But its still a lot better than Hillary. The real problem for Russia is that the red team has many members who understand their game perfectly. Trump shifting attentions to China and economic issues is probably very pleasing for the Russians however.

    Thanks for the article.
