this loss is not on LA or DeRozan. At this point we look like we only have 5 players who can actually stay on the floor, not 9. Nobody on the bench is doing anything. Pop could play Dante Cunningham and get more out of him then any of Gay/Belinelli/Mills/Bertans. Mills was ok this game, but for the series he's been terrible. Our 3rd stringers looked better than our 2nd stringers. And the White vs. Murray match up has been up and down all season. We just need more players stepping up. Pop needs to change up the rotation that's for sure. Not sure if it would help, but you don't have anything to lose at this point

Not you too. DeRozan has been fine. He’s not Lebron but he’s been better than people make him out to be.
Exactly! He played good today and he still gets the blame. It was Gay and Beli who played bad on both ends of the court today. They will bounce back and win the series in 6!

What a stupid call by a stupid ref compounded by a stupid player.

DeRozen is nothing but a ing mental midget in big situations sadly.

DeRozan is a ing disgrace. He has been whining about calls all year and now ripping his jersey and getting thrown out.

GETTING THROWN OUT OF A GAME THAT YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE LEADING IN BECAUSE YOU GOT CALLED FOR A CHARGE. WHAT. THE. .

(it was the right call too)

Also, DeRozan is such an emotional lesbian. He should seriously try to work on not losing his so easily and so often.
Don't think that Pop would have ever put up with those antics beyond his first off-load opportunity, but I bet Pop keeps him because he came in the Number 2 deal, and Pop has to show he got a player who he can mold into another franchise player. Won't work.

I thought it was the right call, too. Dumbmar once again over-handling the ball trying to force things with his less than great ball-handling skill.

LOL. Of course it was the right call. DeRozan's "charge" was payback for a blatantly missed call a few seconds before. He didn't try to hide it. He slammed into Harris and gave him a hard shot, then tossed the ball. He wasn't pissed that the charge was called, he was pissed about what happened before. I don't blame him for being mad, but he was still stupid for what he did. That was never going to come out good.

Meanwhile, the league reversed double technical on Durant and JaMychal Green, because they don't want to take a chance on having to suspend Durant during the playoffs. Theater imitating sports.

I doubt he takes that player option, after next season. Makes sense for him to opt out and get more years and money.

    , you're right. I was hoping they'd trade him this off-season but Pop's ego/pride won't allow it.

Yes, DeRomo has his issues. But I feel like some of this has some to do with Pop never sticking up for his players publicly.

You saw Malone call out the refs, right or wrong, he went to bat for his players publicly to the media, and it rallied his guys.

Pop never does that, the exception being Kawhi and Pachulia. In 20+ years of coaching, he’s done it once....once! And it was a day.

Tim Tony and Manu aren’t walking through that door. They new guys need to feel Pop backing them publicly, but he won’t because he’s so smart and we’re all dumb, and his coaching is untouchable.
