That's my problem with this charlatan. He's good on self-help and psychological material but when it comes to politics he's just another Steven Crowder and Ben Shapiro. "Let's blame all of society's problems on SJW's and pink haired college snowflakes." As if the authoritarian SJW's on the left are responsible for all the corruption and imperialism going on. Not to mention he's another Zionist.
There's no doubt that Zizek's commentary on ideology, politics, etc... went straight over JP's head. Even some of Zizek's criticism's of JP's self-help bull (i.e., the Heinreich Himmler discussion) also went over JP's head. Charlatan is the right word: he's a huckster cut from the same cloth as Eckhart Tolle or Deepak Chopra. It's a sad state of affairs that he's considered some pre-eminent academic when his actual academic work is garbage (i.e., Foucault is a Marxist).
That said, this debate was a disappointment. Slavoj was far more reserved and non-critical than he could have and should have been

Agree. Peterson, in his wheelhouse as a pscholigust/therapist is actually fairly good. Outside of that, he is a hack, and an obvious one.
Peterson as much amitted he found a way to "monetize" the SJW hysteria.
