We have to get through this stage of being trash. No team can be great for ever. If we don't tank we're gonna stay irrelevant for the foreseeable future. Too much luck is involved if you draft outside the lottery.
Hoping White will become something, hoping Murray will evolve and be better than before his injury. We can't rely on hope and luck, we need at least one sure thing.

Pop doesn't want to retire on a lottery team. That's why they pulled the trigger on the Toronto trade. It's selfish but there's nothing anyone can do about it. This is why the team would have been better off if Pop just retired with Duncan. Bringing in someone like Bud who understands the modern game would have been better than keeping this nowhere roster on life support.

I've said all year that missing the playoffs + getting a higher pick would have been more dignified than seeing these losers make the playoffs. Sad that after this demoralizing loss, this team will respond in like dogs with their tails between their legs and lose in game 6 in front of their fans.
