I agree. I’ll give it one quarter. Spurs can be down 15 but if they’re in battle mode, I’ll be there til the bitter end. But if they’re down 3 with frowns, slumped shoulders, and slinky arms, turning it off. I’ve got better things to do. Laughing, but extremely, dead, dead serious.

I think it’s because the series was actually winnable at first. Then the team blew it. If we looked outmatched every game I don’t think any of us would be acting like this.

What would Toronto trade us for Derozan after Nephew leaves in a few months? Fat Gasol and OG (whose value is a fraction of what it was months ago)?

DDR and Aldridge together just doesn’t work. It’ll be worse when Murray is back. The franchise would never be that cold and move him, but need to admit he’s not a net positive player going forward. And if they don’t trade him, they’re going to end up overpaying him in an extension.
