Because he moves his feet. He's not just a pylon. That bas has some serious lateral quickness. I said it before, a PG on a C ought to be a mismatch, but Patty can't get past Jokic to save his ass.
He is so bad on contested layups that he would probably be better off pulling up for a three. Might even pick up a foul from behind.

Gay not boxing out and Mills 2 Times not making the easy layup cost us an 8 point swing. Think about... spurs could be up by 13 instead of 5.
