Man, that last 30 seconds is going to leave a bad taste in my mouth of what this team is made of. I can handle if you're not good enough. I can handle if you fight back and make it a game down 17 on the road in a game 7. I can handle almost everything if you play hard and play smart, but that last 30 seconds is the lowest IQ move I've ever seen from a Spurs player/team. I even saw Pop's spirit break on the sideline there at the end while he was yelling for the foul.

I just don't understand how you that up.

Maybe everyone is right and maybe LMA and DDR don't have what it takes to be part of a contender, but at least a few players on this team discovered they can be part of a great team.

This was not on Pop. The team decided it was over and would not foul.

Then it's still on Pop for losing his players. If you're correct then we just saw a mutiny. Players know they are not playing for anything and would rather reduce the risk of further injury to zero by giving the home fans a token series and then calling it a season.

i dont see how this is necessarily on pop. everybody besides forbes/gay shat the bed for 99% of the game. we were in it, but then murray made a tough floater and derozan got his pushed in. then lma didnt foul despite getting yelled at to do so. thats not on pop

His love affair with Wombat is absolutely on him. To play wombat the last 16 minutes, to not atleast do offense/defense subs utions when you have an all-defense guy on the bench. That's all on him.
