Despite the win, we deserve this bump once again.

I’m kinda hoping they lose as much as they can tbh. Disappointed they pulled it out tonight. I’m a spurs fan but I’m a fan of their future too and I’m pulling for a lottery pick. What good will it do if they barely make the 8th seed and get bashed by the warriors for a third year in a row?

Right but 7 or higher looks like it could land us a winnable series.

How did the Spurs let Avery Bradley drop 33? He's one of the most trash players in the league at this point.

there is no chance in that the spurs can beat nuggets, rockets, okc or even the blazers in a playoff series, if people are not realizing it, we probably have the worst perimeter defense in the game's history in an era where the game is completely realized in the perimeter, we do not have defensive consistency now, there's nothing that changes this, playoffs or not, teams have already adjusted to the hybrid zone defense that Spurs performed with some consistency last month, and now we're back in December, when we could not defend nobody

Spurs defense ranks right under league average. Lower on the road, but towards the top of the league at home. We definitely don't have the personnel on defense to be better than league average, but with a healthy roster and when the team is playing well we can compete with anybody in the west besides GSW. Houston has looked pretty tough lately I think they'd beat us and I think OKC would too, but we'd have a chance. Denver and Portland could beat us but I don't think it's a given. I'd give us a 50/50 chance against anybody in the west OTHER than Golden State. If I had to bet money it doesn't mean I'd pick the Spurs (I would against Portland,) but I'd still feel like we have a valid shot.

Right now we're playing pretty bad. There's a big correlation with that and Derrick White missing time. I think we can figure out how to be marginally better than we are now by the time the season's over. Obviously if we don't play to our potential we won't beat anybody, but we're capable of being formidable.

idk, we were looking pretty decent with Dwhite for a while. We had some very impressive wins.

Truly the low-point of the season tbh. And now 1-6 on the RRT. This does not look like a playoff team.

Only thing worse than being a non-playoff team is being a non-playoff team that finishes 9th or 10th in the conference. It’s NBA purgatory.

We are a disappointing team to watch.
White cannot be back soon enough.
Mills cannot go away soon enough.

Honestly need to relocate sooner than later, but keep the history from Gervin up to May 2017 and Zaza's cheating in San Antonio.

Saves Gervin, Robinson, and Duncan's legacy from being watered down by generations of decades of being the Cleveland Browns of the NBA.

I don't really think this should be bumped every time they lose. But the last two games make it very fitting.

I dislike a lot of players on this team but how can you show guts when your own coach is too stubborn and arrogant and insults the game for what it is now. Would be hard for me to get up for every game too.

This thread was cute when they had three future hall of famers and Kawhi and the team was underperforming But now this thread needs to retire.

The players are just an extension of the head coach. Don't blame the players because they suck. Blame the PATFO who assembled the team. The Spurs have one, if not the softest FO in the league which is why the Spurs are considered one of the softest teams in the league. They don't want players that sound off, pound their chests, grunt, shrug their shoulders or show off. Well, this is the end result of that. A bunch of blue collar dead heads that only know one speed.

Was the search engine disabled so that nobody would find this?

Tbh, after the first half I was geared up to post here. But I was pretty happy with the second half effort. The only gutless worm is Pop. Dude is such a prideful prick.

Not everything's a conspire wet dream, they disable searches to help with resources in times of high traffic, didn't you notice this site went to right after the final buzzer?
