Should public sector unions be allowed to collective bargain for wages/retirement? They are suppose to be working for the people and they are paid with taxpayer's money. The people who agree to their pay and benefits have no consequences of their fiduciary responsibility for the use or miss use of that money, i.e. it's not their money so why should they give a damn? All in all, it sounds like a massive case of "legal" fraud.
I have no great objections to private sector unions.....other than their connects to mob control and other massive illegal activities.

It's happening right here in SA. Brockhouse is pandering to the Police/Fire Unions and they are all in on getting him elected. In an off year election like this one they carry huge clout as a block vote. He promises them whatever they want on their contract negotiations and he gets elected.

Texas is a right to work State. AA has a union, the APA, but did I say I was a member? Besides, the APA is a private sector union.
Public sector unions have one grand purpose....and that is to take tax money and redistribute it to the Democrat Party.
