Should public sector unions be allowed to collective bargain for wages/retirement? They are suppose to be working for the people and they are paid with taxpayer's money. The people who agree to their pay and benefits have no consequences of their fiduciary responsibility for the use or miss use of that money, i.e. it's not their money so why should they give a damn? All in all, it sounds like a massive case of "legal" fraud.

I have no great objections to private sector unions.....other than their connects to mob control and other massive illegal activities.

I agree. Both capital and labor need to have collective bargaining. But that can only happen in the private sector. "Unions" in the public sector ought not have collective bargaining power....or the power to strike.
