Doesn't help that Capela gets the ball on the bounce at his knees or lower half the time. CP3's penetration lob game is not even part of his game these days and Harden is content to roll the dice (or himself) on the perimeter.
Morey must be kicking himself for giving Harrell away (and for Dumbtoni never giving him playing time when he was there) every time he watches Capela choke in the playoffs.

Maybe Pop should ask Steve Kerr about how to play your starters in the playoffs...
Another playoff chokejob by CP0, per par.
You just can’t beat the Warriors. When Durant is struggling, Curry is going off, when Durant and Curry are struggling, Klay carries the load for a quarter. All the while you have Draymond going Baraka with his knife hands taking out players eyes. You just can’t beat them 4 times.
Durant (top 2 player in the game) really ed up the NBA going to that team. they have forced other teams to just chuck 3s over and over just to try to keep up. It’s taken 3 years, but you can see how it become a 3 point launching league.
Game 1 vs. Warriors
Lou, Trez and Pat: L
CP0: L
Game 2 vs. Warriors
Lou, Trez and Pat: W

Pretty much that's how I felt. Draymond is very valuable considering the refs allow him to get away with dirty plays, hacking, grabbing. No team but the Warriors have that luxury on the defensive end.
but man, was a big capela fan...
was on the verge of saying montrezl is better after the last series... i can now say... montrezl is better.
i wanted the spurs to draft him though so i'm not bandwagoning at all.
i just gotta think capela's nerves are getting the best of him. i do think he'll be much better in houston and going forward.
i think d'antoni isn't using capela right... and then when he finally gets the ball... he's thinking ahead of himself.
stop giving the ball to capela in the post... PnR d'antoni... pretend like he's amare... it's really not complicated at all.
rockets winning this... they've played BAD and have lost winnable games.
Not to mention the moving screens on the offensive end. A 90's era big-man (Shaq, Ewing, Olujawon, Robinson, etc) would dominate him in the post, get him into foul trouble and then it would be all over.
Of course there are no such big men in the today's NBA.
Rockets "strategy" is to out gun GSW? I just don't see that happening.
Poor Pringles... blocked by the Spurs when he had the Nash/Amare/Marion Suns, and blocked by the Warriors when he has the Harden Rockets.
kenny said just what i did. they have to use the roll.
they will have a different energy in houston and carry it forward. they have lost both games by an average of 5 points.
it's incredible to me how d'antoni abandoned the PnR... nash and amare... cp3/harden + capela can't do that ??? SMH.
I've been saying it all season: all they do is iso now. That shouldn't be all that hard to stop by a good team on a 7 games series.
The only reason this game was even close was because of fluke chucking and the massive ref favoritism that the league gave the Rockets just to make them stop whining. I had the Warriors in 6, but now I'll be shocked if it goes more than 5.
harden was out for most of the first half.
I'd like to see Faried play more. For whatever reason Capela is playing super soft. Faried will bring defensive intensity and grab rebounds. Giving up offensive rebounds killed Houston tonight (just as it did it game 1).
